The point of this video was not to prove Postle's guilt in court, either criminally or civilly. I made it because JFK was taking a "victory" lap on twitter this past week claiming that because some of the civil plaintiffs in the case against Stones settled and signed a statement saying that they found "no forensic evidence that Stones of JFK were involve with cheating", that this proves in fact that no cheating occurred and that he is somehow vindicated. Whether he was involved or not, he was in charge of this project and was repeatedly warned that there was a very high chance of impropriety. As far as I can decipher he also lied to myself, Veronica Brill and others about doing an investigation on the issue when in fact none went on all. I want people both inside and outside the poker community to be able to reference the most damning hands easily instead of having to sift through dozens of hours of material that is not well organized (which is the way it currently exists on RU-vid). I don't want Stones, JFK or Postle to viably be able to create a public narrative that this scandal was unfounded and was the result of "vloggers seeking views" and or an angry poker twitter mob.

This just shows that enforcing a no electronic device on any table that has card readers in use has to be employed. That way there can not be any complaints about possible cheating at the table. Totally agree that based upon his play, making hero calls, massive lay downs or over shoves, something wasn't right and information was being passed somehow.

Bart, I really hope that one day you can look back on this and realise how crazy you sound. All these rumours are just pure speculation. Why is it so hard to believe that he's just a lucky fish? For you to discount that possibility shows you don't really understand variance as well as you think you do.... If anyone can provide ACTUAL EVIDENCE of Postle cheating, (HHs don't count mate, they fall under speculation), then I will retract everything that I have said. But the speculation and rumour has to stop mate. It has really lowered my respect for you, and all the other players that have involved themselves in this.

@@davez5201 are you high? Every publicised session has been scrutinized, he cheated, it's clear. Both Party Poker and Pokerstars use HH to determine whether a player cheated, both have refunded money to players based solely on HH's so your 'theory' there shows a naivety at best and a clear lack of understanding at worst (most likely imo). I think you probably need to study variance, it swings both ways unless you're Mike Postle.

I think he is extremly incompetent and a good friend of Mike, thus trusting him. But dont think he is into the scam for some reason. @@emdiar6588 Wow, looks like you have no idea what you're talking about here. Justin K and Stones trying to sweep the scandal under the rug when Veronica brought it up is an established fact. They made numerious statements calling her a liar and saying there was nothing wrong with what Postle did. And if you had been paying any attention to "world wide news" you'd know that the lawsuit against Postle was a complete failure, the guy is walking away scot free. So the whole thing actually HAS been swept under the rug. There will be no real world consequences. As for claims of Justin being Postle's accomplice in cheating, those aren't based on anything, evidence needed.

I’ve always felt that one of the most damning hands is the A2o where he runs the bluff against what just so happens to be 97cc. What you don’t see here in this edited version, is the interaction between Postle and the opponent after the opponent 3 Bets the turn, but BEFORE Postle puts in the 4 Bet. Hopefully you all can go back and find this original hand as it aired because it’s rather fascinating. When the opponent 3 Bets turn with the 97cc, Postle begins experiencing “Duper’s Delight” to such a degree that he can’t contain himself. He can’t stop smiling and laughing, in fact he can barely collect himself to put in the 4 Bet. Even if, and key word IF, you decided you were going to run an absurd, zero equity bluff here with two irrelevant cards like A2o, this is simply not how you would act/interact in this scenario. These are not the actions of a guy who is about to 4 Bet jam the turn with A2o on a QQ45 for $8k effective, they’re the actions of a guy who just found out his opponent 3 Bet this board with 9 high, and all he’s gotta do is raise again to win the pot. It’s the genuine reaction of someone who’s just realized their “master plan” worked again...it’s just sickening. Barely $650 dollars for each player that settled the lawsuit...and now we gotta listen to guys like Kuratis run his mouth all over Twitter now. Just pathetic.

So action went Asian:bet Postle raised Asian: 3bet Postle goes crotch theory optimal and then laughs and does some funky shit 4bets But you have to give That asian dude alot of props because it takes guts to 3bet if he did-he was completley in tune with whats happening when making that 3bet I think after asian folded, Postle even had the gall to say to the asian dude that he was worried about Q5... But really sick play by the asian dude in that spot if it was 3bet (i thought it was just a raise) I wonder if the asian guy had 3bet jam if Postle calls with A2offsuit... I agree! This hand is the most suspicious one if you actually think about it. Nobody would ever fold tp on the turn, but his play turn out to make perfect sense if he actually can see the cards. Backdoor equity gives him perfect implied odds to draw against a set. His hand is just perfectly hidden if the boards come something like turn: Q, river: 8. The guy with 99 will not lose all the money if Postle makes a flush, but against a backdoor straight he will get WRECKED 100% of the time.

@Jamesbass74
@Jamesbass74 3 года назад
Mike Pengangster well we are aware of one situation where Mikes cards weren’t being read by the RFID, so he asked the player next to him to call the floor to get it fixed. Seems weird he would know there is an RFID error considering even if he was watching it’s a 30 minute delay. We also have the fact that he was spotted with some sort of blue screen app on his phone, very similar to the RFID master device which Matt Berkey showed his to confirm it’s the same screen. Larger hat when playing then when in interview The fact that there are 3 total people coming to his defence, one of them being the very sketchy “Rounderlife” for which he is affiliated and wore merchandise for in the games. JFK also citied this as a “reliable” source compared to ESPN and the like. The fact JFK is completely clueless regarding poker, yet KNOWS that Postle is 100% innocent even after hundreds of high/world class players have given him reasons why this is not the case. Given the content, Mike is supposed to be one of the best players in the world. Yet we only see him play 1/3 on a live stream for some unknown casino to most of us. Why is he not grinding higher stakes or literally anywhere else? These are just a few points that stood out to me, by no means is it exhaustive. They probably would have gotten away with it but the fact JFK is doing victory laps on Twitter really makes me and others want to persue looking further into this.

This is a terrible analysis because he is judging the hands and Mikes game as if he is a great player and knows how to play as good as him. This analysis makes an assumption that he knows ranges works, how EV works. You know how many played I find on the table that knows how to play as good as he is assuming Mike should play? Like less than 1% when I go to the tables. You know how many players I see that makes the same kind of plays because they are so bad? Like 80% of the players I play in live games and many of them has been playing longer than I have, especially the older ones. Can we please get a judge that plays poker to be in charge of this case? The evidence for cheating in these hands are obvious to even a recreational poker player... The future of live poker, livestream, and poker in general are somewhat on the line here. How is Stones still an operating gambling establishment? The amount of hoops we had to jump through and education/forecasting/preemptive problem-solving we had to provide to the gaming board (external control) and WGLV's legal/compliance/security departments (internal controls) to get Trooper Thursday and MUGs approved originally were very significant. It really wasn't that great. The problem with live poker is that as an observer, you know nothing about the history of those players and whether the other player has any kind of rep. The gentleman who had the set of 9's is Robert Young, the tightest player in Sacramento, and in my 8 years of poker playing about 400 hours per yer (Sacramento, LA, Vegas, and Bay Area), Robert Young is the tightest player I've ever played with. He was one of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit and is a very nice young man but his image is exactly that. I can tell you that if Postle turned an open ended that he would have called and then if he hits on the river, he's stack Robert. But that's the normal war in poker LAG vs TAG. Everyone knows Postle is a LAG and everyone agrees LAGs win way more than TAGs. I realize you're being somewhat sarcastic but all our comments mean nothing as everyone know poker is completely "situational."

At what point do players stop using the RFI readers and just look at their cards, taking away his advantage? or are players required to use the RFI readers at this tournament?

Bart, you're definitely my man crush. No homo.LoL!! I'm sure we'd be best friends. I love all that you do, all the content you produce, and your entire perspective that you have shown your viewers. I will always keep following, liking, and supporting anything and everything you do. You have made me such a better poker player. I'm someone who has minimal hobbies at best, and to be taught how to be successful at something I truly love and enjoy every second of doing, I feel is an absolute blessing. Cheers to you my dude, Bart Hanson. Please dont ever stop teaching. Because I never ever want to stop learning. And just to.bring this message home, #fuckpostle!!!! #crushlive4life!!!!

He's just took David Sklansky's poker theory a little too literally. It does say every time you play your hand the way you would if you could see your opponents' cards, you gain.

Great video Bart. I think the A3 vs A9 hand is the most damning for sure.

What's really incredible to me, or scary, is in this case with Postle or before with POTRIPPER, all they needed to do was study a little and play basically normal. You have a boat vs boat? Get stacked! If he wasn't so blatant he could go on crushing, and maybe someone out there is.
