Fair enough, but my "observation" is that close-minded hockey fans seem to spend way too much time in always finding something negative to say about the game of basketball and/or those who play it at the NBA level as if it's completely out of the realm of possibility to be a fan of both the NBA and NHL.

the Richards trade is different, its pretty much all up to how good Schenn becomes but at this point i would undo that trade if i could anybody who says Simmonds is better than Richards clearly doesnt know hockey, Richards a a great all around center that does everything well and always shows up in the playoffs, you dont trade those types of players I like Simmonds, but he has several flaws in his game; not great defense, hockey IQ, skating, passing ... he is nowhere near Richards level
