Adding my deep appreciation for Mike. Amazing stuff.

Mike was a great perfomer and collector of authentic music of various traditions. He has left us an impressive legacy.

Seeing Mike in a solo show blew my mind. Wish I'd seen more solo shows.

This is the style I am going to self learn what a beautiful match the voice and the fiddle I see this live and it is pure gold. Learn the style fiddle players it is the best sound I ever heard. I play old time music on a fret less 28 scale Eric Prust banjo and I really love this music form the most. My granddad was a real folk singer and so I try to keep it alive.

Was this originally filmed in colour, because the fiddle to my eyes looks almost brown, Mike's hair looks almnost blond and his shirt looks like its got bits of green in it... Yet it seems black and white.

what year and program was this from?? I'm guessing 65-67ish??
