Mike Stern is a real example of a guitar player that has a great knowledge of chords, harmonies and improvisation with feeling. We can bet that he won't play every note 100% crystal clear, but the thing is, he knows and feels why he plays 100% of the notes. So, technique and perfection doesn't matter. Music is important.
