DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK D.A. CARSON IS FROM SOMETHING CALLED THE TRINITY Evangelical Divinity School. The doctrine of the "trinity" three God's rolled up into one NONSENSE was invented in the 2nd century by an fake christian named TERTULLIAN, after all apostles were DEAD. When THE BIBLE NUMBERS SOMETHING you should be very wary of anyone who tells you that ONE really means THREE. Ephesians 4:5 King James Version 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, HOW MANY "LORDS" , yeah that part. How many BAPTISMS , yeah only one and it ISN'T the one that D.A. CARSON has. So there's that. PREACHING COMES FROM GOD NOT MEN. So you don't need SOMEONE ELSE'S THOUGHTS ON HOW TO PREACH OR CONSTRUCT A SERMON. All who do need this JUNK do NOT RELY ON GOD FOR THEIR SERMONS! Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Mike Todd, Jamal Bryant, William Murphy. Get into, and read your Bible for yourselves;. "It is better to trust in the LORD than to place confidence in man". (Psalm 118:8) 🛐✝️🤦🏿👍🏿💯
Totally agree. This guy is a very young bonafide wolf in sheep's clothing. He knows exactly what he's doing. Fork tongued & very slick. His members seem so ignorant of the Word & lacking in discernment that they can't see through him. I just can't..
@@Kdubtru Thanks for the great video! Check out videos on The Docent Group - I think you'd be interested to learn more! They write sermons for megachurch pastors to use, so the pastors don't have to write them themselves. These sermons are everywhere, unfortunately - and I even know of smaller local churches using the exact same ones, where the pastors tell personal stories and anecdotes as if they're their own. We need pastors who love the Word and are committed to faithfully studying it to feed their congregations!
@@OpenTheeDoor that’s why we have to continue to seek god first I’m still learning that it doesn’t matter what your position you not bigger than God and I needed that fresh revelation to humble myself thank you for sharing this video and to all responding God keep you in perfect peace the blood of Jesus over your home over your children I “said I won’t tell anybody but I can’t keep it to myself” I pray you get to know God in a fresher way because I AM A STUDENT I DON’T KNOW IT ALL GOD BLESS !!!!!!
Yes! The problem is that as humans we tend to lose ourselves when God blesses and elevates us and start to confuse the blessings we receive from him with thinking we now have all the answers, when ONLY God is all knowing! We lose the humility that led us to receiving the blessings in the first place and replace it with pride which then blinds us from our own ignorance. I pray we may always remember that no matter how much God blesses us we will always be students of his teachings and may we always have the desire to serve him in truth and in faith.
Why would anyone sit and listen to this man? These people are so blinded to continue to sit there and plus how come he has no conviction that he's literally copying someone?
If you believe repeating a sermon is evil or wrong then don’t quote Jesus because that’s copying also. We spread the word regardless of who the revelation was given to first on the matter. This is the spirit of confusion bringing up mundane topics in the church. Is he preaching The true gospel??? That’s all that matters and i don’t even know the preacher he’s talking about. But God bless and I hope you see my point. Also I can show you in scripture if you would like reference to what I’m saying.
@@Covenantofblood 1Corinthians 4:6 says don’t go beyond what is written. That’s what’s happening here sir. Jesus is not a tithe. This clearly rubbish that has been exuded from the prosperity ministry. They’re saying that God gave us Jesus so we should have no problem giving them money sir.
@@AfricanYo 1. Prosperity is literally preached from a Jesus so many times! But that’s not the topic I was speaking on. Repeating a sermon as long as it’s Holy Spirit revealed will not be wrong. And also did you go and watch the sermon to get the full context? Most bloggers take snippets and people just eat it up
@@Covenantofblood you do know copying someone word for word is plagiarism right. Which is Stealing, which is according to the God you believe is a sin. Its one thing to be inspired by someone else’s sermon, but to copy word for word as if it’s from your own mind that came up with it and repeating it like it’s your own is deceiving and sinful. Quoting Jesus is not the same thing as making a whole sermon copying another preacher. The preacher is a preacher not Jesus. Don’t be ignorant. Edit: Also let’s not act brand new like Michael Todd hasn’t admitted he hates studying the Bible. This isn’t a Godly man copying someone for the good of his congregation, he’s lazy and deceitful. You can follow him if you want to but you’re completely wrong here.
Yes! Thank you! Lot of work went into this video, but I noticed a trend with Mike Todd. Much of his tithing series are taken from Robert Morris. Much of his “kingdom” series is taken from Myles Munroe.
@@Kdubtru He’s not stealing this sermon from The Blessed life from Pastor Robert Morris. Pastor Mike Todd had permission from Pastor Morris to do so. Pastor Morris has even preached this sermon at Transformation Church. Pastor Mike Todd used to play on video the actual sermon series The Blessed Life for the first few years as a new pastor.
@@alaciad.1874 there’s much more I can demonstrate that Mike Todd (due to his inability to preach) takes alot of his material from others. Like Myles Munroe.
A lot of people in the public eye are ignorant. That's the reason they're always getting caught up in scandals. He was probably never educated on theft of intelligence.

@@alaciad.1874 the main point isnt just repeating a sermon word for word, even the jokes, is that the sermon itself it's bogus, that's not biblical. also how can you follow a "pastor" that literally said he doesnt like reading the bible? what kind of teaching do you think you are receiving?
We all need to pray for Mike Todd so that his eyes will be opened and that God will have an encounter with to show him all the things that he needs to fix, and that he repents and pray for the congregation that the Holy Spirit will give them discernment so that they don’t just listen to anyone and think they are right and so that they will not be led astray and that they have their own personal relationship with Jesus
Years ago my husband and I watched a sermon by Mike Todd & thought it sounded familiar. Went back and found out it was word for word a Robert Morris sermon. It wasn’t either of these sermons, so I’m afraid there’s more than just these. I can’t remember the specific titles. Ever since we saw that he did that we haven’t looked at Mike the same way.
@@Dannean7 I didn’t believe it when I first heard it either, but after doing some digging and research it’s definitely true. There are a lot of reliable sources on RU-vid who have worked in his church who have confirmed it.
He ought to have known sermons focused on tithes are highly scrutinized and that someone would pick up on this plagiarism. He refuses to study and preach the Bible. He couldn't even be bothered to get ChatGPT to write him a sermon like any ol' common plagiarist. Oan, my former pastor did/does this. I didn't notice it until after I left that church! smh
Oh boy. It's like that time, a certain prophet stole the "prophecy" from a psychic. Word for word at that. Like he didn't even bother to rearrange the words, like we use to do in grade school 😅😅
I’ve never once believed in him as a pastor/preacher!!! Another hip/hop modern day preacher that has a following of black folks because they love the charisma but not the anointing!
Not all black people are caught up in the cult of personality, I love good biblical teaching; I care little for entertainment; side show misrepresentation of A God who is Holy and worthy of respect and honor. So please understand that all blacks are not entertainment driven
I love studying the Bible. Whenever I feel God is speaking to me when I read it , I got to praise his name. The Bible is our guide , our instruction for our lives. Where would I be without it.
As a college professor I see word theft occurring more and more with my students and it is absolutely disgusting. How much more disgusting is it to see it happen, word for word, in the “pulpit” 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 study the word man!!! It’ll preach if you let it. Shameful!!! And the crowd eatin’ it up 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
People are like lost sheep. They will follow anyone in a leadership role and won't think twice about it. That's how people are so easily sucked into cults.
How is repeating a Holy Spirit filled sermon theft? How do you steal revelation from God? All sermons are repeated. They were repeated in the Bible! The scripture even quotes scripture, so I’m not seeing the issue.
@@Covenantofblood “Holy Spirit filled sermon”… mmkay, explain that?…. I see how you could miss seeing the issue. Do not change the nature of my original post, stay on topic. I stand by what I said. Todd was not original in his delivery of his motivational speech. Just about everything was lifted from what he heard another say even down to the nuances and prosody of his speech-word for word with a straight face like he’s the one who originally delivered it that way!! Complete “theft”. Disgusting 🤢🤮
@@oliviabroxey6375 all sermons should be Holy Spirit filled if not then it’s NOT from God! And I never changed the topic at all. You saying theft when someone repeats another sermon but how is that theft? All real sermons and revelation come from God to man and we repeat what we hear. So again if he’s “stealing” who is he stealing from? From another pastor?? How when the words came from God? If it’s in the scripture then it’s from God. Picking out one preacher said the same as another instead of looking at the msg from God is an agenda from the spirit of confusion. What’s the point in getting mad when someone copied a sermon when the word is being preached and it’s saving souls and helping people?
Morris actually preached this in a series at Todd’s church a few years ago around the time that Todd purchased a new building for his church. This is more like recycling than stealing sermons. However, God does not necessarily stop sending resources because we do not tithe. The parable of the talents has nothing to do with tithing. So it's just bad doctrine being rehashed.
Yes but word for word of someone elses message is not recycling. Recycling would be reusing your own message. This is spiritually unethical. He literally memorized the transcript. This is not right- but it is showing his actoring skills, woah 😱
@@caramileelliott1719 Did you not read that the dialogue here is meant to be charitable, not idiotic? I mean what difference does it make since Morris taught wrong to begin with? It's like saying that if Todd came to this conclusion on his own it would be right when it would still be wrong. 🤷🏾♂️
very interesting find! It is clear to me that those two sermons were “hijacked” by Todd. However, I wouldn’t say, as mentioned in the end, that Mike doesn’t study or read the Bible. Even though I don’t think Mike is an actual Pastor, I can’t say he doesn’t consult the Bible on his own. May God grant repentance to Mike (and Robert). Soli Deo gloria
I believe Mike Todd "consults" the Bible. I believe he he comes up with a premise that fits his sermonh point (probably often taken from someone else's beliefs), he uses Bible software to qcuikly look up verses that contain the proper words and phrases to (aparently) fit his topic, and chooses one or two which he believes confirm or back up his point (even though 99.9 percent of the time those verses are taken far out of context).
Come on guys, its hard being Mike Todd cut him some slack. You heard he hates preparing for sermons, he has to grow he's social media presence, hes trying to grow the Transformation Church brand, so what is he supposed to do? Some so called pastors deserve to be mocked along with being called out. Every week he proves how unqualified and ridiculous he is.
I did a google search of the title and bible verse of my previous pastors sermon and I found at least 7 sermons he got from offline. I printed the sermon out and watched the live again and highlighted what he found online. He read about 75% of it. He never gave credit to the writer he took it from. I never confronted him because he soon left suddenly only after 2 years. My ex pastor even preached you won’t go to heaven if you don’t PAY tithes. God don’t charge a fee to get into heaven. Giving money is a work. Preachers love to share good sermons from each other I’ve been told.
This actually not a shock to me in the grand scheme now that I think of it. Before he became Lead pastor he used bible stories he learned from "McGee and Me" and another show growing up as sermons. This was he started the "So Fly" youth ministry at his parents church . He said it in an interview and there is even an documentary on RU-vid about his rise to Lead Pastor.
I use to go to TC. The reason why it's the same sermon is because back when he first started to preach, he would bring in Robert Morrison to teach the sermon on giving. Through learning from him and Morrison book, "The Bless Life", Mike started to preach exactly what he learned from him. So every year, Mike, preaches the same to the sermon, just packaged differently. Anyway, I thought I would give some insight.
@@Kdubtru Well my wife and I left for a hand full of reason. One major one is the lack of sound doctrine. It gets frustrating to sit and hear the butchering of the word. So in this season we have left. However, I know we are still called to the people there.
This is amazing. He could have even changed some of the numbers or the details, but he didn’t. He even repeated his jokes 😂. All Todd has to do is say in the beginning of this, “I heard this analogy from a mentor of mine I want to share with you”. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but why lie?
Shocked but not surprised. I’ve sat in a church where I listened to a plagerized sermon. This is more common than we realize. These Pastors know most church folks are lukewarm. The average Christian doesn’t read the Bible or listen to any sermons outside of Sunday morning service.
Yeah he’s not stealing but preaching from A Blessed Life that Robert Morris allows as long as it’s referenced during service so that the proceeds collected go back to Gateway when books/workbooks are purchased.
In one of Mike Todd's sermons, he literally said that if someone can do a better job that they can take over his position. I truly think he doesn't want to be a pastor, but doesn't want to step out of the spotlight either.
Quoting scriptures is one thing , even given reference to another pastor or leaders sermon is another things BUT repeating an entire part of another man’s sermon !? I’m literally flabbergasted
Jeremiah 23:30-32 God is against false preachers who steal words from each other and claim that they are hearing directly from God to lean people astray.
Pride is the reason he doesn’t like studying the word of God. The word of God is enticing. If you’re full of pride the act of humbling your self to study and learn will feel like too much
Ridiculous! I pray he continues getting exposed. I have been a listener of Robert Morris for years. He’s got a lot of good material for him to steal from - from his sermons & books - there’s a lot. To steal word for word, without even mentioning his name, is just shameful!
Thank you, brother. Just subscribed! We often hear pastors use the words of others, but every pastor I trust, if he's going to use the words of another, will give credit to the one who has already shared that portion of the message. I don't think I'd have a problem with the logistics of how Mike uses these illustrations if he would preface with "So and so used this illustration recently, and I think it's pertinent for what we're talking about today." That's just the logistics, though. The foundations of these sermons are to "entertain and inspire," as Mike has shared before, so I already have many concerns. Keep up the good work!
My goodness. Word for word plagiarism. “Thou Shalt Not Steal!!” Exodus 20:15, Deuteronomy 5: 19 Wonder what excuse “Pastor Mike” is going to use to explain this one. 🤔🤨
This is more common than you would think. Some preachers circulate sermons/sermon topics in their circles. I noticed some preachers preach the same basic sermons at different churches on a Sunday.
Mike Todd is the reason I know about Robert Morris; As said, Morris preached at Transformation Church and I happened to see it while I was following the channel. Morris' sermon convinced me to tithe to TC for several weeks and I've regretted it since I stopped watching.
Cmon bro. His parents trained under miles Monroe, and he played this sermon as a video on a Sunday because he said he wasn’t mature enough or preach it, then He invited Robert Morris to preach this exact message at Transformation years ago. These are people he knows personally. You have no clue if he’s talked to him about this and the likelihood is he did. He knows him personally.
@@KdubtruI have pastor friends who hear examples and explanations of mine and ask to use it and I say yes. Don’t bother citing me because it’s for the building up of the body of Christ. If he’s spoken to Morris and Morris is fine with it, it’s not a matter of stolen work. It’s one thing if Todd steals this and puts it in a book, but between pastors in a Sunday morning contact for the edification of their flock, as long as there’s a conversation, you need to make a case for a moral wrong.
He’s not a Called “Preacher” He called himself !!!! Big Difference. “I did not Send These Prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak 🗣️ to them, Yet they have prophesied”. Jeremiah 23:21. Now WHO Does that sound like??? 🤦🏾😈☝️
The irony here is we teach word for word of what Jesus taught. Sometimes I wonder if social media is helping Christianity or killing it. First and foremost revelation are not given to one person. I remember a sermon I preached 7 years ago and today I hear people preaching it word for word and we don’t know each other. The goal of every teacher is for people to learn what is taught. So if anything Dr. Morris is a great teacher.
