Also, did you hear Mike Todd say " I don't know if I have on the inside of me everything that I need for what God wants to do through me. " God has fully equipped us to do His work if we remain obedient to His word. Mike Todd should read Ephesians 4:10-13 where he would learn about the equipping of the saints. We have our confidence in Christ alone, not in ourselves. I will pray for him.
My mum once told me “it’s not about the church, your personal relationship with Christ comes first!” That has helped me tremendously. When you have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit he will help you discern false teachings etc and lead you to the right church. Not everyone in the “church” is of God. So we need to lean on him before we lean on the church as failing to do so in this order can lead many astray.
But to build a personal relationship with God we need to read and study the bible. Too many folks have a vague idea of what having a relationship with God really means.
@@GioTummy3463 Yes exactly that, which we can and should do on our own accord. Relationship is intimacy, talking to the Lord and hearing from him through his word. I found it important for me to read the Bible by myself daily not just on Sunday’s at church. That is when I began to understand and deepen my relationship with the Holy Spirit as it was then personal and not based off of others.

I used to consume much of Mike Todd's teaching as a brand new believer about 4 years ago when I was 18 and had just started college. However, as I began to read and understand the Bible for myself, I realized that he preaches a lot of doctrinally unsound things, and I had to "unlearn" a lot of what he taught. Though he does teach plenty of generally true things about the Bible, his false teaching is kind of like a glass of water that’s 90% clean and 10% contaminated. It’s water that shouldn’t be consumed. I think the scariest thing about him is not knowing whether it’s purposeful or simply a result of ignorance. Either way, his teaching is littered with falsehood, and has been for quite some time. If you are a new believer in Christ and currently attend his church, please leave and read your Bible! I speak from experience when I say it isn’t worth the confusion and biblical misunderstanding that are inevitable results of his teaching. There are much better pastors who consistently teach sound doctrine such as Voddie Baucham, Paul Washer, and Justin Peters. If you attend his church and are aware of the unsound doctrine in his messages, please confront/correct him in love, if at all possible, so that he might see his error, and pray for him!

May I suggest you stop following any of those you mentioned, as well, and seek only Holy Spirit to teach you. I've been walking with the Lord for over 35 years and the first 3 years and I just read the Bible hours-on-end, sought Holy Spirit for insight, prayed and fasted. This will give you wisdom and insight to discern, no matter who is speaking.
I was in this exact same situation two years ago as a new believer. I was so enamored by his confidence, charisma and his supposed faith , that I totally threw discernment out the window. It’s sad because this type of preaching was the only thing I knew when I was unconverted, so I kind of went back to the teaching I knew. But praise God he got me out of that and now I listen to sound doctrinal teaching and reading my bible with more intention.
The more I watch Michael Todd, the more I realize he fits the title of entertainer much more than pastor. He’s more like a Christian comedian or coach, NOT a pastor, and we have to discern between entertainers and solid foundational teachers. Sure he may be fun to listen to, but his messages have a lot of fat, and are very lean in meat.

The sad thing is twofold as I see. 1)We live in a day and time of massively biblically illiterate people. Bible reading is in utter decline. Hence, since, many don't read many are gullible. 2)We live in the era of the celebrity preacher. Many people go to church to be entertained because the pastor is "lit," has "swag" or the music is "off the chain." Hence, it is not about worshipping the LORD anymore. It's the cheapest form of entertainment we can attend. You can get a good show, minimal word, and leave as "a better version of yourself." Very New Age and pantheistic.

I actually live here in Oklahoma where the church is. I haven't attended Transformation but i have been to a small group that they hosted. I have been a little reluctant because i felt they tried to imitate the world to draw people in and the church shouldn't look anything like the world in my opinion. Also i took a little issue with the small group because i had never spoke in tongues before and right there at the small group they asked us to do it on command and it did not feel spirit led, it felt absolutely flesh led. The brother Mike is a wordsmith and full of charisma and can move the crowd. But this is a scheme, a design.. These younger men attempt to LOOK exactly like the younger generation. From dress to the lingo to adding drama to the sermon and theatrics. I mean casting their lines out into the water trying to catch a couple with some very dynamic lures on the end of that pole. The Wolves in sheep's clothing are getting better at disguising themselves.
I'll never forget that happened to me around 2009 in a small group in prison when a lady teacher told us to speak in tongues on command and I was the only one in the room that didn't and it didn't feel right at all and this was many years before I was ever born again.

Last year a brother asked me what did I think about Mike Todd.. I hadn't heard of him. Without listening to a sermon I went to his church website and saw that he had not one, not two, not three... But about four female pastors on staff. That was all I needed to see 🤷🏾♀️ At that time there were more women in leadership than men ... I was done by just solely based on that 🤦🏾♀️

Never been a fan of him and don’t listen because his message scream new age and I’ve felt that since he first came out because the people who showed him to me, tend to live backslidden lives…. But this is a genuine question does God not heal? Does God not bless? I think there’s another thing I’m seeing going on in today, which is this obsession with suffering . We must be careful, not everyone who puts their faith and trust in Jesus Christ will suffer the same. The ultimate sin is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. A person can be forgiven of unbelief if they repent and then believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. However, Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. Read Matthew 12:31-37

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 4:4 " They will turn their ears away from the truth and wander off into myths and mam made fictions, and will accept the unacceptable. This Pastor is not preaching the truth, and those that listen to him, are not being taught the scriptures as it should be taught. I used to watch his sermons alot a few years ago. And even then people would says his doctrine was questionable and i defended him. But later on i became open minded and decided to ask the Holy Spirit about it, and alot was pointed out that didnt sit right. Just wow. I used to think the same way about Michael Todd brother, but God has since exposed my Pharisee like heart. I watched this vid to give it a chance but as expected it was full of misquotes and quite literally putting words in Michael Todd’s mouth. Point 1: Michael Todd does teach repentance of sin frequently. To say he doesn’t shows you don’t watch his sermons all the way. Jesus did die for the whole worlds sins. “He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2 ESV You said Michael Todd said that everyone gets a free ticket to Heaven but he didn’t. You projected that on him brother. Point 2: Yes the seven deadly sins is nowhere in the Bible but the PRINCIPLE is there. In the same way the word Trinity is not in the Bible but the PRINCIPLE is there and we would consider the Trinity a staple doctrine. Yes the term is Catholic in origin but that’s as far as it goes. Point 3: People do go to hell for unbelief. Consider this, imagine a sinner somehow stopped sinning but did not believe in Christ could he be saved? Absolutely not because it’s not the acts that save but the belief that changes our actions. We see that with Israel, they were delivered from Egypt but didn’t see the promise land due to unbelief. “And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.” Hebrews 3:17-19 ESV Point 4: I actually agree with you that Michael Todd’s conduct as a pastor should be wiser. That’s fair. But that doesn’t disqualify him especially as a Christian. Let’s actually listen to understand before we condemn, love to you King.
Regardless of this it doesn’t change the fact that mike Todd is still a false teacher. I mean I can point out so many things about his teachings that is flawwed and unbiblical but just look at the people who come and preach at his church, the man has female pastors including his wife! His heart is not for God but for himself! I’m still trying to figure out how those two examples of the enemy tempting Eve and attempting to tempt Jesus are examples of gluttony. Gluttony is over indulging with food. Neither example was a form of over indulgence. Satan only tempted with food at those times due to the situation. For Eve, the only access to sin was to disobey God’s instructions to not eat of the forbidden fruit, so he used temptation for eating that since that was the only thing God had told Adam and Eve to not do. If God’s instructions were for Adam and Eve to not touch the fruit, the Satan would’ve tempted Eve to just touch it. As for Jesus, Satan had tried to tempt Him with food only because of Jesus’ circumstance of having not eaten for over a month. Eating something after you haven’t eaten in weeks is merely satiating hunger. Based on Todd’s logic, anytime he’s gone without eating all day and has finally sat down to a good meal, he’s committing gluttony. Besides that, Satan had also attempted to tempt Jesus in other ways besides eating, so how is gluttony his ace up his sleeve? Scripture would’ve spoken heavily about gluttony if it were the most dangerous of sins. Todd’s breakdown of gluttony sounds profound to the unlearned (regarding scripture), to those who enjoy having their ears tickled, and to those who don’t question anything; they just go with the flow.
As Christians dissecting and criticising a fellow human being who is preaching repentance doesn't seem to be God like. why not pray for him and not pointing fingers. it is so unfair. pray for himmmm and all those involved. we are one body in Christ. please lets stop all this. pray for each other. What about using 45 Minutes to pray and intercede for Mike Todd instead of doing a video to „expose“ him. Why do we always tend to bring people down rather than uplifting Gods kingdom.
I watched this and I stopped at in point when he said a couple things. People don’t go to hell bc of sin. And God put us into this fallen world… sir, first: this world was good when He finished it. It was our disobedience which was sin that ruined it. What bout the verse that says your sin has separated you from God? This man needs help. These people need to run

I knew something was off about him, but man I don't listen to him enough to catch all this stuff. we need to be watchful now more than ever. he grazes so many heretical things...it's scary...I know quite a few people who align with him
I remember I started watching him in 2018 when I was going through my awakening. He was definitely good for the season I was in, but the more popular he got, the more lukewarm his messages began to get. I know once he hit mega pastor status he would be just be like the other prosperity preachers. Those who know the Bible will be able to discern false prophets.

Just two minutes and six seconds into this video and I'm heartbroken by what I see. Smh #gimmicks and #emotionalism after watching the part of gluttony I really, really feel sorry for those people who call him their pastor.
As a christian i think understanding the bible and understanding god is a lifelong study. Makes sense a lot of good pastors are in their 50s and older. I don’t know if anyone of Tods visitors even knew what Martin Luther was fighting against. He was fighting against the catholic church because they were preaching about political, made up and worldly thing’s. And yes they took the money of the people aswell prospering their greed. The problem i see with money is that it corrupt’s us. The more you got the more you’re giving value to the world. Doesn’t the bible say it’s not about the amount of money you give others to help, its about the amount you sacrifice for others. Jesus renewed us and gave us the ability to resist sin if we believe in him and live with him. This life is a short road compared to gods kingdom, but we have to be careful and stay on that road with the help of jesus christ and the holy ghost. Trust in God’s word. God bless you. Amen

More money, more purpose i.e. as a believer to whom much is given, much is required. Transformation Church has distributed millions of dollars, and while that alone is not an indication that a church is of God, it does speak to money coming in and flowing out. If I have more money to distribute, I can direct that to more purposes. Do not take Mike's words out of context to prove your point because that is what an unbeliever would do to the scriptures to prove their point. Even if some of the illustrations he uses come up short, it is way too bold of a statement to say that he is not saved.

I have been waiting for someone to say something about him. I have never gotten into his ministry, something just felt off. I was turned off by his dress. The Bible tells us to come out so how you drawing the world when you look like you going to the club or a party. Ppl even us believers have a twisted relationship with money. From Abraham, David, Solomon and can’t forget Job had plenty wealth. They all had an understanding and healthy relationship with their wealth at least in the beginning. Solomon ended up doing wrong with his so that relationship got tainted meaning what he did with his wealth was wrong. If God blesses you with wealth it’s definitely for His kingdom use but even if He doesn’t your gifting and message is just as important as the first person’s. You have to have a proper perspective before you walk into that kinda blessing
I used to LOVE Mike Todd, but recently i tried watching his latest series (cuffing season) and i stopped halfway through the first video and I have not went back since. I think this is the Holy Spirit speaking to me to not to believe in what he says. When I tell you I LOVED Mike Todd, I would recommend him to each and every person who asked, but now I’m reluctant to even do that.
For the love of God, please don't recommend him!! I thought he was off from the time I saw the need for props all the time and the lack of substance in the sermons. After seeing the church which seems like a movie theater or concert venue and then with the music,game night atmosphere, and that self serving video about himself, that really grieved my Spirit on another level. I have to say, that I don't feel God with this place and that's why it's growing so fast!! Jesus doesn't want acceptance,he wants repentance and this place is a distraction,not a real house of prayer imho.
I know the message might be shallow and hippy. But we need to admit they making Church fun for the youths who will grow to become more dedicated Christians and maybe switch churches. Mike Todd isn't a pastor he says he didn't take any Theology classes....listening to Mike Todd is like taking medical advice from someone who says their a doctor but didn't attend medical school
Agreed, I have known him for a long time and the church also nothing Holy about the church or him, Tweaking on his wife online to using secular music in Easter production year after year hardly any accountability with his staff etc

You don’t need theology school to be a preacher. Jesus, Paul, John the Baptist, Peter, stephen! Did they go to theology school? Alls you need to be a preacher is to be saved, and filled with the Holy Ghost, and called. Clearly this 🍭 acting boy doesn’t have God.

People need to realize that the Gospel was also relevant in the early church back then that suffered persecutions that didn't have much and was going through struggles. Also what about people from other countries listening to His messages that probably don't have much or is poor and ect. ??? It upsets me so much when we distort the Gospel and make it about ourselves and not the Author of the Gosple. Before we came to Christ we was already thinking about ourselves and selfishness. Yes we are not perfect and yes we have flaws and will struggles but at the end of the day I want to full truth of the Gosple and How we as a church can continue building eachother up and grow as disciples. Letting christ who is us living His life through us. If I'm not being built up or growing in maturity in my faith then it's not to Church to go (any Church) .

I watched your entire video. As someone who regularly watches Transformation Church, I’d really like to have a conversation with you. I think you made a couple of fair points but I also think you misrepresented a lot of what Pastor Mike teaches. If you’re at all open to hearing from someone who, to this day, watches TC every Sunday (and who is closer to Jesus because of it), I think you’ll come to more nuanced conclusion in your assessment of Pastor Mike. I won’t sit here and defend this man like he’s perfect; he’s not. But you made several claims that I know to be untrue. I’ll give two quick examples, then I’m out: Pastor Mike DOES teach repentance. He DOES teach on suffering and persecution. Would love to chat with you sometime. (PS Looks like you’re a Colts fan! I’m originally from Gary, IN and I lived in Indy for 5 years. I assume you’re in Indiana and if you are, would happily visit your church when I’m back in town.)
What is confusing is why are people sitting in the pews , where did he get his teachings. And is not the whole Bible about sin and how it was paid for. He should get a real job, and stop lying to people
I’ve followed him for along time now. He always includes scripture in his sermons. For me personally, God speaks to me via his sermons. His church is a giving church.
This is familiar to a ministry I once knew. It appears that he is caught up in the hype. I believe he was sincere initially but it’s kinda like the person who gets fame and gets caught up. The unfortunate part is that droves of people will get a warped view of what a disciple is and not be challenged in their sin OR like I was… feel defeated in being free from some sins. We must pray folks.
