Money does not grow on trees, my friend. Mike Trout has been a big disappointment and his contract is a disaster for the team. If he really wants to know why the team hasn't made a playoff run, he should look in the mirror. Overrated, and hasn't completed a full 162-game season in 6 years. What about him makes him hall-of-fame material???? Zero.
Just in todays world you know he will end up in the hall of fame. I completely agree with you. He has been a disappointment but the angels as a whole have been as well.
@@The_Midwest_Slugger The whole organization must have been cursed after their 2002 world series. They've made so many unfortunate, expensive signings that turned into financial disasters. Gary Matthews Jr., Josh Hamilton, Vernon Wells, Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon....It's been an absolute disaster. The team has proven a very important economic principle: Cost does not equal value. The 2002 world series team had zero superstars but great chemistry and hungry players. Who in their right mind would play a 5'7" player like David Eckstein at shortstop? But they managed to win it all anyways.
