People who cannot see things 0 Judgements & undivided attention, will never understand what this conversation is.. both people are really honest in their seats. I love & respect both..
What an awesome video. In this video there is only one special human being. The man on the right side of the screen. Respect to Mike Tyson. A true Legend & living Gladiator. Heroes and wise men don't talk much, they ask questions and execute. Don't be fooled my friends.
The illusion of knowledge is what’s really sad here. This is about as deep as deepak chopra’s ocean in the drop. There are a lot of great philosophy coming from the Asian continent, specially India. If you can’t tell sophistry from philosophy, ya, you’ll think this is deep.
@@eduardosantana8300 it depends on how u perceive and what kind of a lense u have put on...i see no sophistry in what this man has uttered....infact the whole world is burning only bcoz authority is perceived as truth....i am sure u can't understand any of this unless u change ur lense u have put on...
@@akkinune the only way what sad guru has to say becomes profound, is if you look through a lens of mysticism. Frankly, in 2022 there seems to be, at least to me, no reason to use mysticism. Not trying to throw the baby out with the bath water but, the smarter things he tends to say is nothing but a poor man’s stoicism. Most of it is woo woo. And some woo woo is okay, most philosophers dabble in woo woo at some point on another. However to be almost exclusively woo woo just isn’t wisdom.
@@eduardosantana8300 "Woo woo" implies some sort of the belief in the supernatural. He never appeals to the supernatural. In fact, multiple times he stated that "belief" is counterproductive.
@@nicksummervill6297 he can say whatever he wants, my man still wrote a whole book on karma and have given entire lectures on how you can escape your “karma”. It’s the definition of woo woo.
He’s overwhelmed by the amount of bullshit sophistry thrown at him. I don’t know if this guy is a predator preying on peoples ignorance, or just another Sophist riding his wave of imaginary wisdom.
I get the impression that Mike was searching for something that he was hoping Sadhguru could help with, but I'm not sure he got what he was looking for
@@backwardsyoga why do you believe that ? From everything I know about him he's very legit he's a humanitarian very well respected in terms of a philosopher and a guru or yogi
Letting Eben go was a horrible mistake. He was extremely good at managing conversations and a strong, sober presence at the podcast. Hotboxing nowadays is just celebrities trying their best to navigate an often awkward conversation with an increasingly high and sedated Mike Tyson who has a speech impediment and becomes even harder to follow when he's blasted off his head
Just because he is not saying what you wanna hear doesn't mean it's nothing. You are nothing. In the face of a cop you are nothing. In the face of MCAT you are nothing. When faced with anyone who is even remotely taller than you, you are nothing. Don't belittle the first time you spoke. Because that was nothing too. But for those who care and are willing to die to hear your first words as a 4 year old, that sure is something.
Thank you Sadguru and Mike Tyson, I just had an amazing lesson from you and it means change come from within and you are in charge of everything you feel and experience.
@@joshuahubbard4919 I suppose I shouldn’t say charlatan. He may truly believe in what he’s saying. In that case then he is just full of his own bs. But I believe he is a charlatan because of how he chooses to speak. His cadence, his delivery are all done in a way to establish control and create impact. It leads me to believe that he knows what he is doing and therefore is a charlatan. Otherwise, if he’s just naturally like that and in fact does believe in what he is doing, then I suppose it’s just shitty wisdom.
@@eduardosantana8300 I noticed he talks like he thinks he knows more than everybody. Not very humble at all. No one likes a know it all lol. I didnt get upset you called him a charlatan I was just curious why.
If only Sadhguru could have engaged with Mike it could have been a much more amazing meeting. This was hardly a meeting at all. Just Sadhguru loving to hear himself talk.....
Sorry to hear that, you absolutely need to do something about how shallow your knowledge of philosophy is. This man is a sophist, when you ponder upon what he is saying, he’s not saying anything. Try Plato, Seneca the younger, Marcus Aurelius... you’ll see true wisdom. Not to mention the tons of great philosophy that comes from india. Hope you can pry yourself away from this illusion of wisdom. Take care.
@eduardosantana8300 Your perception is not a barometer for this exchange. I see your cup is full. With all your "wisdom" and erudite self grandeur .. The train to enlightenment has left and you still stand at the platform of judgement
Wow. Thank you Saadh Guru and Mike and all the team for this truly awesome meeting. I feel it will help many understand and inspire to understand/ experience more 🙏🏽
Since people say Sadghuru rambles Part 1 What am I afraid of? You cannot fear anything or love anything because nothing outside yourself controls your experience and emotion. This is why Tyson continues to struggle because he believes if he knocks the next opponent out he will find success and happiness, when the real enemy is himself telling a story that everyone is against him or judging him. There is no story, only the you experiencing life.
@@claudettejacobs930 They are. I think he's saying only 1% can achieve a state of no fear, present moment at all times. Even when humans remember there is nothing to fear the mind will convince you other wise..."you're letting your guard down" "why are you so trust worthy" "remember what happened last time".
I feel like this is definitely such a deep conversation, that the 3 gentlemen needed chairs with armrests so they can rest their elbows while rubbing their beards/chins in deep contemplation.
Sadhguru's method is basically: Meditate daily, or twice daily. Know that You're not this body and not this mind. Do some yoga asanas. I'll add: Yes, definately meditate regularly! Know You are the eternal Spirit Be kind to Others Do what is good for all, "If it's not good for all, it's no good at all." - Michael Tellinger
Mike isn't afraid of anything at the current stage of spiritual journey. What he really want to ask the guru is why him, why god made him suffer through pain and had the life that he has experienced. Its colorful, up and down but why? The Truth is God never made a plan for anyone, God only gives and receives the energy. When chakra 9 opens, he will know what it means. Hope he gets this message.
This body is a piece of planet we gathered slowly! If you know what this means, you'll build yourself instead of giving up 'cuz one chance comes after infinite possibilities!
He makes loads of good points from the start of the conversation about mood, and emotions. I agree I can’t follow everything he says but there’s a reason why many people want to hear he’s words and not yours or mine let’s say.
*Eben And yeah this is the first time I’ve seen the two in the same room in almost a year. I love Eben, he was so much better than every cohost they’ve tried to replace him with.
This is so so interesting. I feel like they’re both, very naturally, going in completely different directions. Sadhguru naturally goes towards the teachings that he uses in life. He has chosen to fulfill the purpose of being a guru. And so he always answers like that as opposed to just talking. Mike is just trying to have a conversation I feel like 😂 I wonder if it’ll change as I continue watching. The biggest misunderstanding I felt so far was around 30 minutes in, when Tyson asks him how he got on this path,, and he mentions belief and then Sadhguru went off on a tangent about cleansing beliefs. But Mike Tyson’s curiosity never got answered 😂 I love both of them so much. However I feel like there is a veeery natural tension. And not one that is wrong, but they just don’t synergize. I feel like they’re not having different conversations.. but it gets close at times 🤣 was hoping for more harmony naturally, but I am not disappointed. Very interesting watch
People commenting on Sadhguru 'speaking in circles' or dodging the questions are missing the point. He's not there to give yes or no answers, his purpose is to help people understand and therefore answer your own questions. If the action of not answering questions directly is the mark of a bullshit artist then Socrates was full of it. His whole method revolved around asking his students the questions, and yet he is renowned as one of the wisest philosophers of the Western world.
Sadghuru gives the most confusing answers. Mike is great. Sadghuru is also wrong about many things. He said improvement doesnt matter? Improvement is crucial and very important for humans. We all need to improve and become better human beings, get rid of the evil in us through repentace and come closer to God. For real wisdom look to the Orthodox Christian Saints and Fathers. Start with Saint Paisios

They need a better sound guy. There’s too much high frequency being pushed through because of the gain/pre-gain, and it’s making this quite difficult to listen to.
As an infant, things are complex until you gain knowledge of it. Walking, feeding yourself, etc. I believe things only become "more" simple once you gain knowledge of the matter. Cooking, fixing a car, and pretty much anything in life will seem foreign to our knowledge, until we take the time to become more observant & study, (which is to us) that complexity. The more you know, the simpler it'll become.
Great Interview between might and mind. I am from east part of the world migrated to west. I can related to both (three) of them and each of them have merits. Best thing Sadhguru is doing currently which made me his follower is Save the soil movement. Hope this movement solves potential problems. We human beings will figure out way out of this but scary part is what if Sadhguru is right ?
There have been hundreds if not thousands gurus and yogis who could see the past and the future. They got enlightened and powerful by doing these sadhana and yogic practices that ordinary people don’t know. There are so many signs, he could be one of those higher realized beings 🙏
it's all rambling for you because you haven't experienced life as much yet so you don't really understand the questions and the answers provided. It's like you're trying to teach kids some real-life lessons and he obviously won't get it. But Mike did get some ideas that "how life is about being humbled"
