@CrazySicily i heard similar. The sad part of this is that the mainstream world demonised him instead of learning from him. And the media fuelled it even more.
@@louisschulze7554 i think many times i failed because i tried not to be afraid. Because i 'ignored' fear i havnt had this mighty motivator. And its so freaking awesome to accept fear and use it as my best friend. Its such a relieve, and i can now say that these 'fails' were awesome cuz they led me to this video and your comment that helped me out. Thanks bro!
I feel like his squeaky voice made him scarier.. because he seemed like a monster.. what kind of dude has a creepy voice like that.. unless it was really deep , in the direction of Bane from batman .. that'd be some scary shit
Me too, if I come across any of his videos I just watch it and then chain it with many videos ahead.. like I'm doing now. I'm in the 4th in a row aahahha
Tyson is a king the greatest of them all no one will ever come pass the success that he accomblished no one will ever install that kind of fear in their oppoments... mike is a straight savage and boxers these days cant even compare themselfs to Mike Tyson, My idol
Lol, you don't know shit. Mike Tyson's legacy is not from his accomplishments, he is surapassed by so many when it comes to that, it's his amazing style. A style that no one could beat in his prime.
Growing up through the mid 80's through the 90's with a dad who loved the fights. Tyson was and still is one of my personal heroes. There will never be another Mike Tyson ever in history. Truly one of a kind. And the greatest heavyweight boxer who ever lived.
@@mhusssain1235 Muhammad Ali would not of stood a chance against Tyson That Rope and Dope shit would be Suicide against Tyson. Both in their prime? Tyson would win hands down. Tyson was a junkyard dog.
@@mhusssain1235 i can tell you have no idea what you are talking about," Mo Ali" ? As in Mohammed Ali? Never heard of him. Muhammad Ali was a great Boxer though.
You guys can say that there were probably other fighters who were faster, punched harder, had better footwork or better boxing skills than him. But for me, Mike Tyson is the scariest, most intimidating and ferocious boxer who has ever lived. His unique peakaboo style is what makes him special, it just an amazing style to watch and Mike perfected it to the point you just want to watch it forever because you know that there will be no one else like him. Ever.
I grew up watching him fight and really admired him as a boxer. After seeing the person he has become I admire him as a man more then I ever did as a fighter. He is and will always remain a true legend.
@Legend of Awww Sheeet not in his prime he was a machine after when drugs women prison life got to him yes he was human as well but in the first 5 or 6 years you aint going to see such a destroyer
The most feared boxer feared the most and that’s what made him in the end everytime that he got in that ring unstoppable... fear was his only ally and he embraced it and used it to finally become truly fearless
What a remarkable self-analysis of Tyson's rise and fall. He always had fear and pressure on him that he has to prove to the world. If D'amato had lived 10 years more, he would have stayed beside him and said words of courage to his ears. Especially when the time came for him to face "The Monsters" of division, such as Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe(Possibly), Tua(Possibly), the fear and pressure must have grown bigger. Because world always expected something great and tremendous from Tyson. They would never accept normal victory. It had to be spectacle and fantastic. His tactic of storming his opponent in early rounds stemmed from this pressure too. That tactic worked fine against middle to low part of division, but top boxers with strong mentality required 12 rounds plan of breaking down. The fear tactic of his as well didn't work against those top division fighters. He had to grow something more, something just a little bit higher and stronger. But D'amato wasn't there to give that advice him. D'amato wasn't there to complete this God's most fiercest warrior. This video doesn't show how great he was. But how greater he could have been.
CAS added to his troubles! He was damaged in his childhood and Cus used that damaged boy to create a killer. A killer that had not solved his internal demons so it was only a matter of time before he would snap. Cus used him like everyone ells!
@@jacobjorgenson9285 yeah but he also gave him a life he would never been able to have had otherwise, dont discount that, everyone “uses” other people to a certain extent, its whether there’s a beneficial exchange for both parties that determines whether its a positive or negative interaction.
It looks like you are having a very hard time accurately remembering Tyson's prime era because the myth you portray does not match up with reality. Maybe these memorable Tyson fights with these great fighters with their memorable careers escaped your memory : Hector Mercedes, Trent Singleton, Don Halpern, Rick Spain, John Alderson, Larry Sims, Lorenzo Canady, Michael Johnson, Donnie Long, Robert Colay, Sterling Benjamin, Eddie Richardson. A literal who's who in the heavyweight division as in who the fwho are these guys?! But wait there's more: Corey Nelson, Sammy Scaff, Mark Young, David Jaco, Mike Jameson, Jesse Fergusen, Steve Zouski, James Tillis, Mitch Green, Reggie Gross, William Hosea, Lorenzo Boyd, Marvis (not Joe) Frazier, Jose Ribalta, Alonzo Ratliff. Who can remember...er I mean forget these great fighters?? These 'guys' make up 75% of Prime Tyson...! They had 132 combined losses at the times they fought Tyson. Not a typo. 132 losses.
Tyson beat himself in the end, once he lost his hunger and his focus, he lost his way. The rage bubbled inside him, his childhood scarred him emotionally and mentally. He couldn’t sustain himself and he beat himself in the end. Let’s hope he has come to terms with his personal demons.
He was not only the GOAT in his sport...but an idol ,a role model on how to succeed in life. Inspire ,Insist ,persist and work ,work work hard. Cus'damato masterpiece....
“Iron” Mike Tyson was the pit bull of boxing. Nobody had ever seen such ferocity from a fighter and there hasn’t been one since him. He pumped fear in their hearts before even stepping in the ring, the true boxing GOAT.
M G Absolutely, Tyson was the definite “King of the Ring” and he dominated his opponents with his fearsome look, powerful right hook and lightning speed. He was so much fun to watch.
he really was man he might've lost but they can't even knock his experience cause that man has a *_chin_* iron mike had the throttle to the floor and that's where ol boy ended up but the hits he took on the way down is something to brag about

The One, the only Iron Mike Kid Dynamite / The Baddest Man On The Planet Tyson. The best there was, the best there is, there is the best there was ever will be. If he didn't get mixed up with Don King & that Washington Sheila he would have ruled for decades.
Every one have the own personal life but Mike” when I was a kid I used to get bullied and felt lonely but when I saw you box my feelings disappear thank you for what you gave as in the boxing ring...... love you man”❤️
Definitely greatest of all time. People that didn't watch him come up through his prime will NEVER understand how good Tyson really was. In every aspect of the fight game.
@@AllUAreIsHistory Damn! Seriously??? I use that saying for the bio on my Instagram! I'm going to pretend I never saw this, because Ignorance is bliss! Now I know Thomas Gray coined that phrase! Right???
@@joegvoll6017 "Everybody has a plan until they get hit. Then, like a rat, they stop in fear and freeze.' " is aparently the original Tyson quote. "Everybody has a plan until they get hit" was originally a Joe Louis quote.
@@AllUAreIsHistory Cool! I can live with that! Joe Lewis was a better guy than Tyson. I forgot about Tyson being a rapist, woman beater, and the disgusting thing's he said about Sarah Palin, not to mention his well televised cannibalism, and the fact that he embraces a very Racist and disgusting religion, Islam! Thanks for the info!
The Sweet Science Bro this is a Picasso of an edit. The alteration of quotes from Cus D’amato and Mike Tyson with that hypnotic music all beautifully and intimately sync’ed with the clips playing at that time is on another level. I can’t recall a better Mike Tyson reel that I’ve seen.
i don't know why but i get so emotional by just watching this video, ,i love iron Mike so much and there is no doubt in my mind that in his prime he is best ever to step into a boxing Ring,,
Everyone used to think Tyson was stupid, & while he wasn't the most book smart individual in the world back then, he was still one of the most intuitively intelligent people I've ever seen. That's what was behind his fighting style, his ring persona. He could systematically break you down, physically and mentally. He took Cus' teachings & became the physical embodiment of them. Tyson, through Cus, became the culmination of the pugilist.
You mean he was an unstoppable machine until the age of 23 when Buster knocked he ass out! You may also want to review his first 27 pro fights leading up to the title shot against Berbick. Combined those 27 boxers totaled 132 losses at the time they 'fought' Tyson. Or another way to to phrase it, they accounted for 75% of the "machine's" wins in his Prime. And he didn't hold the title very long. Just nine defenses. And again. Who did he beat?
Motivation Motivation Motivation..... you influenced a lot of people including me....had nothing & no 1 growing up. My Mom died when i was 3years old, never knew WHO OR WHAT my father IS OR WAS, always an outcast BUT THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD I STILL CAME OUT ON TOP..... #1LOVE
Human beings become legends after they die,but Iron Mike is a living legend.he is the greatest boxer of all times.& as far as our generation can see,he is greater than Muhammed Ali.
The reason I became a boxing fan was mike Tyson in the 80s he was the greatest most destructive fighter ever. If he kept his discipline he would with out doubt of been the greatest of them all. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Even now he is retired he still talked about more so then any other boxer, that in its self is the greatest compliment to a absolute giant of the sport of boxing 🥊
There is no and no will be ever someone like Mike Tyson, he was something more than normal human being. Glad i was living in the same time when Tyson and i could watch his fights. Incredible power and reflex, better than Ali.
@@KAD132 nah bro, Tyson borned in family without father. Nobody could tell him how to behave, he was a child of the street Cus helped him a lot. We are all making mistakes but we are humans and we can always repair it. He went through some shit but most important thing is that he understood what he did wrong. Salute to Ali and Tyson they gave us all they could.
