@@songohan3931 yea bro we know that but when Mike went down it wouldn't have made any difference even if the ref gave him a 20 sec count.Mike was so out of it even if the ref counted to 20 and sent him back in it would still be over he was in no condition to defend himself at all but for Douglas it did make huge difference (he did seem like he could get up faster but still) those extra 4 5 seconds to clear his head could have been the difference between winning or actually getting stopped you feel me....he does have a point!
Douglas took the time he was given. He whooped mikes ass the whole fight and this was the only fight in his career where he was truly knocked out. Im a big fan of his but ive said it a million times
That's how many seconds and minutes Jack Paul will last 13min and 13 seconds only to make it look good because Paul has no chance against MIKE TYSON. This fight is the actual ROCKY movie fight where old rocky fought the young champ but just like the alternate ending Rocky won and so will Tyson.
It was at least a 10 or a little longer. It seemed like the ref made it to 8 with buster halfway up and just stopped counting and looking all around lol buster could’ve taken at least 2 more breaths and still been good, aint no way that ref was gonna finish that count 😂
Total rubbish excuses. That count was way to fast its not 13 its 10 of you count it right. Say " one missasipie, two misasasipie etc. " theres a second each time you say a number & the words missisipie.
I agree he was robbed. When I watch that I was screaming, it’s done the fights done. But that raft let him get back up, and we know that buster did not beat him.
Mike got the same exact count too tho. Also, buster knocked him out fair and square. It wasn’t robbed. Decisions are robberies, getting knocked out is not.
Is it going to rain in Mike Tyson got robbed because you could have come to 13 or 14 15 maybe in the 8th round he knocked him out he got robbed he would have been undefeated still and who knows how the rest of boxing history would have went for him. But one thing's for sure he was the baddest man on the planet
I watch the video again before responding to your comment. I paused the video at the 10 count mark. Buster was still on floor of the ring laying on his side. I paused the video again at 11 second and is up on his right elbow and on his knees. Technically at 11 second mark he is still down. I have boxed and been a fan of boxing since the mid 70's. Buster Douglas beat Tyson up badly in this fight but technically Douglas should have lost by knockout in the 8th round. I'm not a Tyson fan
Boxing noobs do not understand that the ref count is all that matters; that a 10 count doesnt necessarily mean 10 seconds; that the count begins when the ref starts, not when the boxer immediately hits the canvas; that the "guy with the white gloves" does not determine the count; or that Tyson is very biased.
Revisionist history. Doesn't matter if the 10 count took 13 seconds, Douglas easily beat the count rising at 9. Tyson got floored by Greg Page in sparring just before this bout. Also, this fight was a beating, Tyson took a major ass whipping. Then him and Don King and the WBC (?) tried to pull the wool over the worlds eyes. Tyson was never in that fight and was never the same fighter.
