I think Teddy Atlas puts it best when it comes to Tyson... He's amazing, but he's lost every fight he's ever fought where he met an actual challenge. The only times in his life when he's met real resistance and had to actually fight, he crumbled. Prime Tyson was dangerous and a thrill to behold, but his childhood trauma and personal demons held him back from truly being the greatest ever. I think there is a real question if he could beat Ali or Frazier because he never really overcame those pivotal moments that tested him. Don't forget, he lost to Buster Douglas when he was in the prime of his career and undefeated. Douglas was a 42:1 underdog, but when Mike couldn't just overpower him and breeze past him, he lost the fight where one of the greats would have prevailed. Ali and Frazier didn't lose fights like that, and many of the fighters that Tyson faced in his prime were not elite level fighters.

@@AJ-vc6dm you should try watching some sports, on TV if nothing else, before speaking about them. You see, oddsmakers make the line... that's the odds of win probability for each fighter. That alone tells you who is expected to win, and how likely it is. But then you can monitor the shifts in the line in the lead up to the fight. When heavy one sided money comes in, the line adjusts to offset it. Pay attention, and you'll know exactly who is supposed to win, and how strong of a probability it is.
