Hall of Fame heavyweight legend Mike Tyson recently took time to teach some of his signatures explosive moves to a few mixed martial artists. Check it out!
For a small heavyweight man, he was the most feared boxer. I once saw him in Las Vegas airport when he was in early 20s with his 1/2 dozen entourage, and one shake of finger saying no no to people that wanted to pictures got everyone to quickly put down their cameras. There was an aura of total fear in the surrounding like if there was a wild tiger nearby. It’s good to see him building wisdom. I certainly miss his boxing days (minus all the crazy things he had done). All the best to Mike.
Mike Tyson is one of the most respected fighters ever, talk about being able to change for the better. We all loved the way he punched holes in people’s faces during his title reign. Good to see him in high spirits.
@Stuart Sutton Honestly that shit has so many holes in it I really dont think he even did it got set up for the cash. So think what you want but he would still destroy your ass so better to speak it from where your sitting.
Stuart Sutton sheep that has never looked at the actual case. That case was complete bs and there were so many holes in it that it could be mistaken for Swiss cheese, people get falsely accused and convicted of stuff everyday.
Rochester Pawn & Gold I love Tyson but he’s definitely not the best heavyweight ever as a matter of fact he’s a bit on the overrated side if you ask me for when he finally got to fight the elite heavyweights he lost everyone else was just tomato cans 🤷🏾♂️ But to see him still move that quick is amazing
It’s great to see Mike happy and doing well. His impact on people at this point I’m his life became bigger than his impact as a boxer. Much success to the legend.
Tyson giving a masterclass, the fastest heavyweight we have seen, and one of the best to use angles, defence and combination punches, especially during the 80s.
@@therealc.t.7085 Are you kidding? I mean really was that a Joke? Mike's hands are definitely the fastest hands a heavyweight has ever had. What footage have you seen where Ali was throwing fast combos that looked faster than Tyson? Ali was more quick on his "feet" and definitely had a pretty quick one-two and that really quick Jab but as for overall handspeed and head movement. Nothing like Tyson ever in the Heavyweight division. Hell...there are guys in smaller weight classes that dont even bob and weave as fast as Tyson did.
Mark Jones I said nothing about bobbing and weaving or head movement. Ali didn’t use a lot of lateral head movement anyway, unless he was rolling with punches. Secondly the way they throw in secession is totally different. Tyson threw almost exclusively hooks, upper cuts, and overhand rights. By shortening/tightening up these type of shots and throwing rapidly it appears he’s slightly faster than he is, especially combined with the erratic bobbing and weaving. Ali also used a lot of short punches, making his speed appear slightly faster than it really was. I personally believe Ali is the naturally faster athlete of both foot and hand but Tyson punching technique(excluding Ali’s jab) was better. He punched threw his target, combined with his explosion just looks awesome but if we were to clock them from Point A to Point B with all of the factors, I think Ali throws every individual punch faster expect upper cuts and possibly hooks.
@@therealc.t.7085 What you said was "not faster than Ali but def more explosive". Ummm unless you're being specific when you say "not faster" which you were not. Bobbin and weaving is part of speed and Tyson is far more Superior when it comes to that and definitely much faster when it comes to throwing combinations. But anyhow you think Ali is faster than Tyson and I dont. Opinions.
The best part of clips like these is that Mike never just takes a minute to show a technique. He takes time to really teach it as if the person has a fight coming up next week. He wants to make sure you got and can use it. Somewhere up there, Cus is smiling as his student becomes the teacher.
@@tommyegan3940 fuck drug tests dude. I hated them. I'm in the food truck biz now and couldn't imagine working for another man or woman in my life now.
This man is a natural born fighter. This man is one of nature's wonders. Humanity will never have such a powerful talented fighter. So nice to see him happy. He seems to feel much better than he was active as a boxer
He claims to smoke a literal ton of weed per month...it’s not humanly possible, but he claims it..so I’m sure he’s happy as fuck when he’s high alllll day lol he owns his own weed farm.tyson ranch
@@CharmingMountain I swear people think mma is the be all end all of everything mike would be the life out of any of those mma cats boxers have different power than mma fighters it's not even close really
@@threefoe Why not look up what Tyson said himself. He said even Royce would have embarrassed him because he wouldn't have not known what to do. Try looking up how boxers have faired when trying to fight MMA. It's been embarrassing with maybe one fight going their way. That because it was supposed to be a boxing match that was switched at the last minute. Educate yourself.
@@Jamesmax22 I've already looked it up I train in martial arts I'm well aware however most times those boxers were washed up when they tried to convert. Why not look at the most recent high profile example with floyd toying with and demolishing McGregor? Boxers have better defense, footwork, agility, speed and power. The only thing mma has advantage on is kicks and ground game and theres too much put on those two because at the end of the day you have to land something and I dont there a realistic understanding of how difficult that will be against a good defensive boxer
Mike look smooth af with his shaved head, beard, and suit. Man, it’s so good to have grown up seeing where this man WAS and now, seeing where he IS. *You go Mike! Live your best life Iron Mike!* 💪🏾
@@ManPursueExcellence no, no, I understand you, I'm just saying, you know America always beats down black men...they must hate the fact that what everyone thought was a black monster (especially after the alleged rape), in fact, he turns out to be a really lovely charming and spiritual man...thats how it looks from London England anyways.
tom tom Oh, I TOTALLY AGREE with you. I’m even happier that he cannot be that for them anymore. I’m a black American man so I’m fully aware. Good Luck over there with your BREXIT and that dude that looks like Trump’s long lost twin brother lol. I believe it is Boris Johnson.
@@ManPursueExcellence :) yeah I'm also a black man, guess what, you'll never believe this...Boris Johnson is a really lovely man, he's not racist AT ALL, honestly its just the media trying to make him out be be like a mini trump, they don't like him cos he's like the stupid little geek at school who rose to the top cause he's comes from money and although they too come from money, they just underestimated him, the media is very very powerful, he has said a few things in the past but that was because he is a million miles away from living like us but he tried to "get down with the kids" kind of thing and got it a bit wrong he honesty is cool...regarding brexit...it is really great to sit back and watch England tear it self apart, they've done it to so many countries and now they are doing it to themselves, personally I want to Brexit (leave the EU) because Britain just wants to invite their European cousins over to help suppress black and brown people, trump has had a massive impact over here and now racism in on the rise here to, even white people that I once knew no longer talk to me, its really bad, really...I watch America a lot and I myself am now having to become militant because..you know what... White people really fucking hate our guts and we just need to come together as one...the Amber Guygar incident really touched me, along with all the police killing us blacks and the white women calling 911 on black...I, I, I, I, I just can't believe it man, stay safe brother.
You have no idea how hard to make those moves at 53 yo . This technics this skills The new generation must learn from him a lot He is a legend That is awesome 👍👍👍
Mike Tyson, mature, able to hold his own with regards reporters asking highly controversial and sensitive questions. He learned the hard way and now sees the world with the eyes of a true gentleman.
Nope. Said it on the Joe Rogan Podcast. That he can’t, and wont. Because it will take him back to that place, back to that man he doesn’t want to be anymore. So what you saw is just ingrained in his dna 🧬 and mind. Super scary.
At first with that bald head and that white beard he looked like one of those kind grandpas you see in the movies but when he started moving for real at 0:10 he transformed into a predator... and we were the prey. I agree, imagine having him in front of you, very angry, that would be scary, when he gets serious even his aura is from a natural born killer.
I love seeing greats impart these nuances on people under their tutelage. I've experienced it playing football in college (super bowl winners showing stuff like "turn your wrist this way when you pass protect" and in BJJ greats showing stuff like "grip here instead of here"...it's so cool seeing greats who really know their stuff demonstrating those details to change people's games. Beautiful!
Mike Tyson really has become an incredible human being. His humbleness these days is so admirable. A true champion. People often try to come down on him because of his past but they lose sight of the fact that he was really just a kid when he won his first title and was in the spot light. He was 19yrs old. I dont think he acted any differently than most of us would have at that age. He had alot of people trying to take advantage of him back then and if you really read the facts you will see that he was totally taken advantage of and had every right to be bitter about it. He is a true champion these days and he should be credited as such.
He fought on a ring as a job plus he started Young at 15-16 years old, these combinations and punches have been practiced millions of times. The muscle memory is not gone unless there's a physical issue.
I think Mike tyson is one step from reaching the spiritual enlightenment.. like all master when they were young hungry, ferocious, and always ready to learn, now he has becoming calmer, teaching the new kids passing on wat ever he has learned.. waiting for the ryt time..
And no HeavyWeight ever has a charisma that Mike Tyson has ...there are many legends still alive and boxers than beat Tyson But Mikes presence n charisma is incomparable....
@@sudhakartamang431 One fighter had definitely more charisma than Tyson and that's Ali. Not taking anything away from Tyson though, one of the greatest to ever do it, nothing but respect.
Growing up I saw Mike Tyson as pure rage personified. I never realized how much was beneath the surface. He was extremely disciplined but had lost his direction. Now I consider him as one of the most humble men I’ve ever seen.
It's just selfrighteus, selfcentered peoples alibi, just because they actually is out of context and never bring anything to "party" the when do politics this way, they don't care about others in the social context, it's the equal to pull down the pants and pee in public, it's aqward and nobody is comfortable with them arround . If you wants to talk politics serious you sit down with someone in a respectful way and listen as much to others as you talk yourself, if you want others to change their view with your arguments you have to be open enough to change yourself if the other shows your wrong or something you didn't know, otherwise there isn't a reason to take an argument from you at all, to be a better person you have to be open to change yourself. Anoying people who doesn't check out the "roomtemperature" are either real insecure or have some disturbing personaltraits.
his whole body is strong and conditioned for these motions with tens of thousands of repetitions and the stress of dozens of real fights against trained heavyweights.
