That Blazing Mirror Force move was so damn sneaky. It took me awhile until I realized the fatal mistake in not reading the card effects, targeting and destroying is very important to remember.
Also, summoning in back up monsters. Had he not done so, or put the XYZ monsters into defense mode, then he would've lost his Cestus but survived the damage.
That too But also, by adding Nova Kaiser and King Dempsey, he increased the damage that Blazing Mirror Force would do to the point of killing him. Had he simply gone in with Star Cestus immediately, he would've lasted for at least another turn.
An unofficial death match using an unofficial Yugioh simulator, as opposed to Master Duel that is official from Konami, was genius! Also, the play with 105 was such a cool idea.
@@vipersniperpiper6093 Honestly, I think that is for the best going forward. Yes Master Duel is aesthetically more pleasing to look at. But otherwise, I hate the living daylight out of it. As many have mentioned before, card releases is absolutely abysmal and straight up nonsensical. (We got Promethian Princess several months it’s going to come over to the TCG, but full power infernoble are nowhere to be seen. That was the last straw for me personally.) Scripting and general duel actions are going to be far more engaging. In short, I see this change as an absolute win in the long run.
Frankly, if I was ultron, I wouldn't trust not getting a random virus from interfacing with the internet digitally. That's a plan someone would think of right away

You'd be surprised how much of the predictions from ultron is just his opponent being predictable. Like the match against Ben he knew Ben would probably summon cyber end but at the same time he knew about cyber dragon infinity already as it didn't surprise him.

I was screaming DONT MIKE ITS A MIRROR FORCE. I CALLED IT, I ABSOLUTELY CALLED IT. (I know it was blazing mirror force but it’s still mirror force). THIS IS MORE CAPTIVATING THAN ANYTHING IVE EVER SEEN IN YEARS.
I'm digging this main villain energy from Ultron. This is almost like battle City with Ultron playing the role of Marik. And the rest of the characters standing in as the main cast. I hope this is true because I'm digging where this is going. I just severely hope we still keep the master duel format, while we keep this format in the form of a "shadow game"

You always have to assume that your opponent's face down is either Mirror Force, or Solemn Judgment. That said, I don't think anyone expected Blazing Mirror Force.
Am I the only one fuckin loving Ultron's gameplay? the voice, the deck, the plays, so satisfying. Great duel by the way on both ends. Fun plays and an explosive match.
I'm gonna miss the Master Duel format, but this does make giving certain characters certain cards easier, especially with new cards showing up every other day that would certainly help in certain scenarios. Another banger video, and I can't wait to see the plot continue to unravel.
I think that was only for this episode. The duel between them wasn't during the official tournament, so they didn't use the "official" dueling field i.e. The Master Duel Format. I think it was just done that way for the sake of the story to really make it look like a side duel that happened outside tournament hours.

Hopefully the Master Duel format comes back at a later point. Still, I'm loving this series so far. Hell, if this become legal, there's more potential celebrities that can appear in this kind of format.

Mike's defeat at Ultron's hands was unfortunate but also logical. Ultron was always several steps ahead. However, Mike's determination and passion shon through and gave the mechanical menace a duel they probably won't forget any time soon. A pity that Tyson betted a bit too much over a single children's card game
One of the more unsung heroes in Ultron's deck I'm not seeing a lot of talk about is Mechanical Night. Sure, it did a lot for messing with Tyson's field, while boosting his own, but a big thing it did was warp Tyson's field into only having Machine-types. From what we've seen of Tyson's deck across 2 videos, his main deck has a lot of level 4 monsters. Specifically, level 4 WARRIOR-type monsters. In other words, Tyson having Rhongomyniad in his extra deck isn't too much of a stretch, so Ultron having a card that shuts the possibility of it down, whether Tyson has it or not, is super big-brain.
I honestly miss the Master Duel format but mainly because of the smoother animation, but if this is easier to work with in the long run, I won't complain.
This storyline and dialogue is so good haha. So much better than it should be. I say use whatever format makes things easier for you. Im here for the plot 😂
Nothing wrong with switching to Edo full time, but it’s pretty funny that an unofficial duel uses the unofficial simulator. Respect to Mike for going out on his own terms, and nearly managing to take Ultron with him!

19:22 Seeing ultron explaning the defrence betwen targeting and non targeting effects is fantastic. I myself, run in situations like that. It just shows how much effort you have to put in this game to realy playing one-step haed your opponent.
Okay, I did not expect this at all. This duel is very shocking. I thought for a moment that Ultron would end their matter together and revive himself or something like that, but Ultron is very terrifying. 😮😮😮😮
Now this was a duel. Excellently paced and showed off both archetypes to the fullest (can't wait for Ultron to boost his deck with the new Legacy of Destruction support) Also a nice deconstruction of Leeroy Jenkins as Mike Tyson dies trying such a stunt. EdoPro makes sense for unofficial watches. Aesthetically-speaking, best to keep MD for official tournaments
I think they didn't do the Master duel format because I think that's "for tournament use" so being it's an "unsanctioned" match they went to an unsanctioned playing field on a different YuGiOh game

I don't mind the format with Yu-Gi-Oh Pro but I hope we still see some duels in master duel because the game has still got some flare and animations that are great to look at. I really like how JB keeps calling Ultron stuff like Megatron and Decepticon. I don't know why, I just find that funnier than I really should I also agree that Joe should be the one to take down Ultron. He really does have that protagonist energy.
