I have the big fancy 1st edition and he doesn't go into a lot of detail explaining the symbolism. However, he does put a lot of thought into everything from colour choices to actual iconographic symbols hoping that people will go on a learning experience themselves and find all those little details. I have a couple books I use to "translate" the symbols and it really is a fun little exercise to get more confirmation. So to answer your question, everything has a meaning in his decks! :D If you want to get into it yourself my top recomendation is "A dictionary of symbols" by Juan Eduardo Cirlot (definitely on of the high quality sources for explaining symbols) You could also look for any academic literature that covers ancient Greek and Roman iconography. If you crossreference those you will be amazed of how much you learn about symbolism.
I really didn't think I was going to like this, but I actually do! I did look up the 1st edition and omg...that's insane. This is a cool deck. I'm glad I watched this and gave it a chance.
Very interesting concept. And very beautiful cards. Love the linen and the color palette is intriguing. I don't use astrology so those cards would be left out for me. I don't generally use oracle, but the cards chosen are all very readable. I"m also a major supporter of Majors Only decks. I know myself too well now though and find this deck is probably 'too pretty for me'. That probably sounds like it doesn't make sense, but I have several similar-looking decks that are stunning, but I just never reach for them. I probably won't part with them, but never use them. Golden Art Nouveau, Essental Tarot, Seventh Sphere. This deck seems a bit different from your usual selections. Thanks for sharing it. It's nice to see decks I haven't already seen walked thru a dozen times.
Hey Levi shit for brains here 😅 what a fabulous deck first time seeing it. Love your abalone shell. Did you buy yours off Amazon like every other influential tarot tuber did with the sage included to protect them from demonic energies 😅 good old classy Amazon the place where you can buy anything.
