Ybarra wants xbox to make games as great as PS 1st party "bangers" . Games he wishes he could tip the devs like HZD and GoW. Dont get mad at me, those are his words.

First of all GREAT GAMES ARE NOT BASED ON METACRITIC SCORES. Great games are based on SALES GROWTH over time. When Zelda 1 on NES sells a million copies and BOTW sells 30 million copies, and the franchise after 30 years is still strong, those are OBJECTIVELY GREAT GAMES. How many franchises who had "great review scores" are now DEAD? Remember Rayman? You know why its dead? BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER GREAT. It was just pumped up by review scores which is just another form of MARKETING. Make GREAT games. The audience wont necessarily come at first, but if you keep doing it OVER AND OVER AND OVER they will come. Then one day, the FLOODGATES will open. It happened with Zelda, Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros and Mario Kart.
