I have a complete opposite take on this. I think LESS people should be trying to make a quick $ online and more people should put in the work to LEARN something that can make them productive in life. Maybe I partially agree with you in your statement that more people should be learning a trade. The Hispanics know this, and they all work. Problem is for one, people these days think they are too good for any kind of labor, and for 2 they think they deserve more money than what that kind of work pays. Too many people these days fall for the motivational rah rah BS that they constantly hear from people on social media. They fall for these MLM scams over and over because they WANT to believe they can be a millionaire while sitting on their couch playing on a phone, and they will pay big money to validate this desire. They start online businesses paying money for domains, advertising, etc... and it goes nowhere. Or they fall into the Amazon fulfillment scheme, which used to be profitable, but now the only people profiting off that are the people selling info on how to set one up. Seriously people need to not look to their phone for income and get out there and do the hard work. And they need to lower their expectations of what the world owes them.
