this is brilliant , good work. only thing i would've done different is wire in a on/off button so you can make smoke on demand as well as stop when not needed...

that's super fancy! good job. might i offer a simpler solution? as a beekeeper wood chips, available from pet shops, cedar chips for hamster pens, make tons of smoke. Several handfulls of cedar chips, ignited will produce coals that will produce loads of smoke when the lid is attached to can.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this video, life’s been kicking me around a bit. Chances are one of your wires are grounding to the can, i used insulating washers between the nuts and the can so that nothing is electrically touching the can at all. If you have a multimeter, use the continuity test between the red and black battery clips to see if you have a short

Flexible Wire Loom is what I call that stuff you ran the wires through.

you made a mistake at 6:53. the correct thing to say was " now you have more air being added with the same amount of gas". lean or rich are all in relation to the fuel, not air, because only the fuel can be controlled (in non forced induction that is) loved the video btw it is very detailed compared to other dozens I watched. I will make this tomorrow but with the regular sized ammo can because I want it to last forever. idk how many times you can open these paint cans before they start flexing like soulja boy, not to mention deforming/crushing from any little thing.

I make the machine like yours but when I connect the wires to battery they get really hot and brake and I have the resistant wire 20 gauge, what Cain you recommend the only I dint doo put some cain fuse and the positive lead wire

Are you kustomsmoke? I seen the same smoke machine set up in a scotty Kilmer video. I was about to email kustomsmoke.

Maybe a little less exposition on subjects that really have nothing to do with the task at hand & a lot more specifics as to the materials, the procedure, the actual numbers (I.e., Ohms needed, the length of the burn wire [and its specific type,] PSIs needed for optimal output, etc....) I found myself fast forwarding/reversing to find actual helpful info to the point of frustration- so much so I felt that I needed to make a comment regarding the issue. There's no need at all for this to be a two-part video tutorial. With that said, when on task, the presentation was good. Decently shot and narration was easy to hear and understand. 2.5* of 5*

Do you have info on the resistance wire (type: nichrome, stainless steel?, awg) you used and purchase info?

Nice building job but never said what you use material to make it smoke like mineral oil?? And you never showed it smoking wow toooooooo much details on evaporation system thanks 👎

Using 'stuff lying around' is not helpful. Not everybody has everything 'lying around'.

you need an engineering degree to make these smoke machines. i need something simple, not complicated project that need half a tool shop to make
