Nice voice quality Mickey General,it is the very first time I ever seeing you,or heard about you.The You Tube channel is helping me know a lot of people, because living in Jamaica for 40 years. Before I fully migrated,I never really learned of you at all. Although you was a very much younger guy to me,most of the artists you are talking about. They are mostly in the 1980s and 1990s singers them, unless they were very popular in those times. For me to know them, because the general came in from General Echo. Because in the 1970s he was the most popular young DJ in Jamaica, where he has number one song on both radio stations.Arleene a must a dream you a dream,he died in 1980. I have listened to a lot of interviews and, some of the artists them is. Not telling the truth, because some of the songs they did. It is done before and what useto happened,in the 1970s. That they useto have some cassette players, where they useto recorded songs at the dances. Because during those days most of the DJs and youngers singers them, never have the chance to recorded their songs..So anybody could recorded them at the studio, once they get the opportunity. So some of them is claiming to say, that is them write ✍️ the songs them. As what Mickey General said about Sugar Minott,he found a lot of young artists.With that little guy named Tensor Saw he was a very good singer, and they killed in the United States.Anyway Mickey General,I really enjoyed your interview, the way you move around in life as a young guy.Teach Them you always doing some really good interviews,I don't most of the younger generation artists them.I only knowing them on You Tube channel, but not in real person.

I met him in Brooklyn NY in 1987 before he was a Rasta and he was the most pleasant and respectful person. He is still relevant after all these years...Good people and music are long lasting in the music industry..

I know Mikey General...he used to live in Peckham early 80s. Mikey General cool and humble man...used move with the Youth man Promotion Sound System...made a tune called Do Wanna Be Starting Something. a remake of a Michael Jackson Song.
