Maybe, but to me ALL callouts should be MMA. It's dumb & fake when guy's only box against a wrestler or vice versa. For example, Askren sucks at boxing but what if his Jake Paul fight was MMA? Same with Danis vs Paul.
I disagree, I grew up with people who would go to the park to fight and they would either box (throw hands bare knuckle), get in the gloves (throw hands with boxing gloves), or just FIGHT which is everything but wrestle. A fight is a fight and depending on the culture, you get more respect depending on what tools you use. Greeks used to wrestle back in the day, Chinese practiced Kung fu, black people like to box. I see your point though but I just think it’s a bit limited in thinking.

I think challenging someone to an MMA fight after they disrespects you is fair game. If your going to disrespect a Jujutsu champion your going get choked out. If you disrespect Mike Tyson, Your going to get knocked the fuck out. Like why do straight boxing or kickboxing? Go all the way and do MMA. Cage is as close to a street fight as you can get.
