If plot armor is always an excuse Then why every enemy is already powerful.so that means the author give them a plot armor?. Kaido is plot armored, same as saitama, same as goku, all of them are plot armor. This fucking plot armor thing is the most bullshit word I always hear instead of sayinf "i hate him". Dont fucking justify your words because of "plot armer" fck you just say if uou hate it you hate it PERIOD.
Imagine takemichi learning martial arts, he has high strength and don't even talk about durability, and if he gets future vision then he's basically invincible.
@@supersaiyangoku7547 it’s not, it’s called using his power and evolving it to future sight. You do realise his entire power is time leaping. Its part of the storyline.
@@ZephyR7G nothing is actually storyline in all these fiction. You mean whenever he gets punched and he resists , it is his power? No. Just like goku he has plot armour. Everyone would die but he doesn't. Peace of fabric sh*t
@@rimurusenpai1492 Good durability means they can’t damage you because your bones or skin are thick and so on while endurance is the amount of damage you can take before dying or passing out. You can shoot someone with good durability in the chest and they would die but the guy with good endurance can survive that way longer.
Lots of people hating on the ending but I actually quite enjoyed it. Yeah it kinda ended with the cliché of the power of friendship winning but the whole manga was about friendship and the mutual desire for freedom in the end, no? Takemichi being the one freeing Mikey from this curse makes sense for me, too. Takemichi was literally going through the most fucked up shit through several timelines and giving up HIS freedom just to help his friends. People wanting the "bad" ending here where Mikey sacrifices himself and that's it feels even more weird to me. Some stories should just end with a happy ending and I'm glad Tokyo Revengers ended like that.
you only enjoy it cause you see what happened. you're the type of person who doesn't care about HOW it happened. like how did takemichi and mikey ended up saving everyone? they didn't show any of it. happy ending but terrible writing.
@@GM-dg6mj I agree on this point, but more than lazy writing, I think it was just the author choosing not to explore more the resolution. Yes the last timeleap between Takemichi and Mickey where they brings all aboard and save everyone, could be an interesting end of the story. Still it is not that bad
@@Ferru1989 The mangaka wrote himself into a corner, and decided to press the reset button to the whole story, none of it actually happened, is like going back to page one, closing the book and saying "and they all lived happily ever after"
Many people hating the ending huh. Personally I loved it. Takemitchy been through a lot of shit just to save everyone he loved. Many comments i saw says that the mangaka should've ended either on Takemitchy first wedding or when kisaki died but still it won't be as satisfying as this. Takemitchy always on a mission to change the future so knowing that in life there is no reset button, he sacrificed his freedom many times. He wanted to save Mikey because he knows deep down Mikey isn't a bad kid. A happy ending is actually a blessing for this series. One of the best series for me.
The issue for me is that these Dark Impulses were never shown at all throughout the entire series. Everything Mikey has done, has been logical. Kazutora killed his brother, then betrayed Mikey, and killed Baji. Mikey wanted to kill him and almost did until Takemichi was able to stop him. In the timelines that Mikey turns evil, it's because Mikey was so hurt by everything in his life that he finally cracked, not due to Dark Impulses. Dark Impulses just ruins that plot point. Basically Mikey would have never turned evil at all if it wasn't for the Dark Impulses. It's like some evil spirit that has nothing to do with anything was thrown into the story as a last resort. I can understand Mikey pushing everyone aside in order to protect everyone, since he knows he's the strongest, and he protects them from the shadows, but this isn't that. If Mikey ended up hating Takemichi because his life became hell after protecting everyone for 10 years, it would be make perfect sense. But the fact that it's only due to the Dark Impulses is just such a lame and lazy plot point. I don't get how this ending is satisfying at all, if anything it's completely unsatisfying because you could literally take this part of the story out of the story and nothing would change lol. There's honestly so much more and things I'm missing but it's just extremely disappointing and I love this story.
Back then, takimichi wasn't tough enough to fight Mikey. As far as I understood, taimichi became tough thanks to the strength of the spirit, which is what the manga wanted to explain. Takimichi like saitama gets tougher with every beating he gets
Even in the previous arcs he is really have an insane endurance. Taiju cant kill him, izana cant kill him too, even kakocho, and even when kisaki shot his foot. That is willpower.that is one thing he got, he just dont give up. Nothing else, He just dont giveup
last arc was fire!!! but if only the mangaka added few more chapters on how mikey and mitchyboi actually changed actions to save everyone, than just saying they rebuilt toman together and saved everyone. because i understand they have a knowledge on how timeline may change when something happens, but still even in thae last timeline future is still unpredictable. regardless, i am personally a takemichi fan.
The future was always bad because two things. Mikey and Kisaki. They add Kisaki as founding member of Toman add him as friend before he was obsessed with Hina. And Mikey knew that his dark impulses destroy everything. Also he is more strict with his friends so in this timeline his older brother dont die. Kazutora not ended in jail. Kisaki dont plot Mobius, Vallhala and other fights and finaly most important thing they disband the gang. Gang about beating other people bring always trouble in future and from bonten arc we know that everyone is good because mikey dont kill them and they choose their own path in lives. So disband the gang after ultimate victory is most important thing that bring peace.
I think it wasn't necessary: - Shinichiro: saved just breaking the curse going back to past. In any case, it is enough Mikey or Takemichi have told to Kazutora about the Shini present to Mikey - Kazutora: same way - Baji: same way - Kisaki: making him part of something, so he can understand it isn't becoming the most dangerous villain that will garantee him a girlfriend. In the precedent timeline Mikey asked him to take his dark impulses, in the new timeline it didn't happen - Hanma was just bored - Shiba family has been already saved in the precedent timeline - Izana: the point is to not leave him alone - Emma: with Kisaki and Izana good she's saved - Inui and Koko: notice that Inui has not the scare in the end - Draken: probably Toman (Mikey) went directly against South before any accident. Brahaman probably was never created - Hinata: Kisaki good - Kaku: Kanto Mangi Kai was never created They didn't show how Mikey and Takemichi fixed everything because every possible accident was already managed by Takemichi during the story. In the new timeline they didn't have any accident and in this way it is very important the final speach of Chifuyu ("This happines wasn't easy, I cannot tell how, but I can see... I can see that back and how many times he failed... He went through a lot of pain, but he didn't give up"). This is the key of the manga TR: take things as they come and don't give up, but fight to create your way with people you can trust. A sad ending would have been a wrong message... And probably not everything is ok: Mikey's parents are dead, Izana's family situation is not different, same for South, Mikey is also failing in his competitions...

Nah bruh takemitchi is a tank. Bro literally tanks all sorts of damage 💀. Bro could take a bullet wound and then stopped crying because Chifuyu told him to stop 💀
In bonten arc, mikey shot him and he tanked it too. He managed to fucking save mikey from falling. How. He's literally in the verge of death, there's no way he's weak
You know what I realised 💀… takemitchi can time travel throughout out the mangas arcs.. there is never a new one, he just travels back to the present and the past staying with only 2 arcs
People say takimichi is a weak punching bag Mc because he gets beaten up so much but let's be honest he's a badass. I mean like if any normal gang member tried to fight him takimichi would beat his ass , he seems weak because we compare him to inhumane monsters like Mikey and taiju and etc
@@rodystam3519 Well i agree on the dragged out part but it wasnt meaningless at all. Without him growing and his sheer endless determination he would have never reached his goal. Ending was abrupt yes but the ending is good in that sense. Mikey had to lose all to fight his curse. In the End they learned no time travel could help them and they sacrificed the power to gain what they already had. You can always interpret in diffrent ways. Only author knows whats real and intented. Nonetheless Christmas Arc was amazing af. And the feelings in this manga were 10/10. Emma's death hit me similar to Ace..
tbh if takemichi learned martial arts then hes gonna be the strongest character in tokyo revengers EDIT:Mom i am famous!!! now can dad come back with the milk?
I do kinda wish this ended after Takemichi “dies” and they all came together after that instead of somehow rewinding everything and everybody to where it made all of the deaths throughout the show mean nothing, especially having Kisaski come back.
This fight should've been drawn out a little more. Like I guess they might have had to rush the ending but this conclusion fight was pretty lack luster given that they made it seem like Takemichi was gonna be the badass of the fight when he caught Kaku with that punch but then he just fights kaku for awhile, lucks up by being able to see the future and just basically has a conversation with Mikey while getting his ass handed to him until his future sight bails him out. I wanted to see Takemichi actually beat Mikey in just a plain old regular fist fight, no powers or sword then they could talk about the past and stuff.
More like Takemichi have: Battle IQ: 4/10 IQ: 8/10 Speed: 2/10 Strenght: 7/10 Skill: 1/10 Durability: 9/10 Noted: Takemichi is one of the strongest in the story but lack almost of anything, like speed, skills, and combat experience. He is more likely to rely to his friends.
why are they fighting in so confused I didn't even know this happened its a great show though I'm on episode 22 but how does he stand up to all of those kicks god damn lol
