​@@OldSchopenhaueryou are correct, these situations are 100% part of the profession. Few professional poker players are going to gamble with amounts that can fuck up their head, as was suggested. A pro is very well practiced in buffering swings that are within their bankroll. YOUR head might be fucked up by losing 100k in a night, but when the bankroll has been built up to 4-5 million, swings of a similar size have surely been experienced and accepted. Ive played 3/5 NL for a living for 3 years and although 2k is a months rent, I can lose that and continue to play my A game and sleep well that night. It's just taken practice. This is certainly the case for those playing 50/100 professionally too.
