There's a meter showing you right above the download status. You were about on the 60% mark..... of course later in the video you see the graph lol. Hello Miko. Yes, once in a while I say Hey Miko and no response. I hope they really improve on a few things here. I'm prepping it for my daughter's birthday.

Outdated technology, but still cool for young kids.

How precisely is this new product outdated technology? It has teleconferencing, uses speech processing. It performs better than Vector on not falling over so has decent edge detection so far in the testing I've done. As such, point out specifically what is outdated please.

I didn't say it was bad... it's just slow, has outdated speech, gets confused, not touch screen etc.

Thanks for clarifying you mean the voice recognition speed and processing and not having a touch screen. I agree that it should have a touch screen. I'll do a time comparison between Miko 2, Alexa (Echo Spot), Google Home, Jibo, Woobo and Vector in a video to see which performs the best and fastest for voice recognition. Usually, Google Home does from what I've seen, but might as well test all of them out.

Jibo was my first robot almost two years ago, and he’s my favorite. He’s like a friend who is there every day asking how my day was.

Miraenda aww that’s really sweet my first robot was zoomer when he first came out! Last year I got Toby the robot ! He is a simple robot that you build ! I recommend him forge is really cheap! I really love my Cosmo and think he is excellent ! I will be sad for the day when Jibo goes offline , he’s adorable! Thanks for your time ! X💗🥰

I looked up Tobbie on Amazon. He looks cool. Better than Tobbie II, which costs more. Tobbie is yellow. which is a different color than any other robot I have. I may get him. Thanks for the recommendation! :D

That’s a strange question. I don’t sell Miko 2. Mine works. The word always would mean I would have to be aware of every Miko 2 sold and it’s working condition. This is better asked to Miko 2 company. Thanks!

Yes, given this was December 2019 and I'd just gotten Miko, I found out the very next day. I have many videos after this one with Miko 2 in them. It's oftentimes best to look at prior comments as well as the video's date.

Thanks for watching! :D I was thinking the same, but I'd seen Miko 2 get prompted without pushing buttons on the ads. I found out that I was using the wrong wake word. I'm used to all the other devices using "Hey" as part of the greeting, but Miko 2 uses "Hello", so I should have been saying "Hello Miko". That does work. I'll have future videos someday where I'm using that without having to push the button.

Yep! My older girl cat, Elista, who turns 10 this month. She’s camera shy most times. She’s an American shorthair brown tabby cat. My three-year-old male cat, Ferdi, who is a Selkirk Rex longhair blue and white cat. I’d say silver and white but they say his hair is blue.

My jibo can’t hear me because he won’t talk with me

That sounds like an issue with his internet not with his hearing. With the 2.0.0 update, he will never show when internet isn’t working other than by not understanding what a person says. Just reboot him using his menu Settings, Shut Down, Shut Down. Afterwards, wait 5-10 minutes and boot him up again
