I've purchased this kit and upgraded cockpit/panels and photo edged parts and also a masking kit about 6 months ago. I'm just finishing up a previous build before I start it. I'm going to watch this for inspiration

Awesome - I have this kit and thanks for the video - great inspiration. Kit came with decals for cockpit details - not sure I want to use those since they are 2D...

Q: how long do you let the oil wash dry before wiping with mineral spirit and eventually dry brushing?

Wouldn’t be easier to paint the cockpit when it’s not glued to the fuselage?

It depends.In this case it wasnt anymore difficult than if it wasnt glued.

Awesome. Absolutely fantastic work. Loved it coz its Indian Air Force. Was the seat harness built into the seat detail or did you sepearately scratch build or use PE?

Have you tried Mission Models paints? They have a turquoise and a blue shade of cockpit green. Both spray and cover really well.

I still haven't to be honest. I don't have a reliable source in this part of Europe. And I don`t like water based acrylics. I might try them in the future though.
