I've been using the metaphor of how you feel like a marionnette when you fall in love, something you can't help and it seems to often tug on you in directions you don't necessarily want, just like the strings controled by some twisted ventriliquist. So, naturally, when I saw this title I had to click. ♥
Yes . . . finally, I found a version with the English lyrics on it. >D I wonder, is the 'string' of fate she mentions the red string of destiny? I thought that was cool. :U
This is my first time hearing Miku's version (well, this is the original) and seeing the lyrics are different than Kaito's. I read a comment, it makes sense now.
There's this one (literally called "Marionette") and then there's "Kugutsu" (which translates to marionette), if you mean the two Miku songs. The other is Vocarock. But if you mean the two songs that follow this melody, there's an "answer" song to this that's from the man's point of view.
@herovsangelo I was asking myself too if there are and there seem to be. I got both versions, this one(with Tourai singing) and the .. I guess you can call it "rock" version. they have different lyrics and melody.
re: string of fate/destiny, yeah, the same thing, looks like destiny is the more commonly used word for this... Somehow couldn't remember this phrase when I was subbing ^^; Will keep this in mind if it shows up again. thx
Hmm... I noticed that Miku has quite a lot of songs related to love. Don't mind me, I'm just saying. A lot of her songs are related to love. It's just a little odd to me.
