Story Summary :-
OP’s MIL, Linda had always hated the OP and made sure to create problems for the OP. The OP had always tried to have a harmonious relationship with her MIL but when her continuous efforts failed, she gave up. But things turn worse for OP when her MIL moves in with them and starts troubling the OP more. Despite Robert's assurances, Linda's intrusive behavior escalated, ultimately leading to Emilia being falsely accused of cheating. Because of this Linda tries to throw OP out of the house with divorce papers and Robert being the Mama’s boy he is, takes his mother’s side. This leads to the OP investigating about Linda and finding out her deep seated hatred for OP because of her past. Turns out that OP’s mother and Linda had been best friends and they liked the same guy, who was OP’s father. Linda tried to sabotage OP’s mother’s marriage leading to her cutting Linda off and thus Linda was getting her revenge on OP. On getting to know this, OP files for a divorce and a report against Linda for defamation and emotional abuse. At the end, Robert begs OP to take him back as Linda finds herself in jail. OP leads a peaceful life with her grandmother and father.
