Mil Palmeras or a 1000 palms!
Mil Palmeras is a district of the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada that is located in Orihuela Costa, the province of Alicante, Costa Blanca , in the Valencian Community, Spain.
It is located in the region of Vega Baja, on the border with the Region of Murcia, being the southernmost municipality in the province of Alicante .
This population was born as a private urbanization around one of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Blanca , but the urban development promoted by tourism ended up giving it its own identity framed next to the natural mouth of the Río Seco, a river that runs about 16 km crossing the entire municipality of Pilar de la Horadada.
