Milán published in 1535 the first spanish book on learning the vihuela. It contains 44 fantasies, 6 Pavanas and 22 songs. Lawall explains the instrument and the problems of reconstuction of polyphonic works when played from tabulature (which only shows the fingering). Milán writes that his works are polyphonic and not chords and scales, as many believe today. His interpretations and explanations are an impressive prove!
