Buongiorno and Welcome in Milan for Milan Fashion Week Menswear Spring Summer 2025 review!
I'm Francesca, a French fashion journalist and fashion video editor specialized in Fashion Weeks and based in Paris, and this is my close-up and personal review of Milan Fashion Week Menswear Spring Summer 2025.
If you are new to this channel, welcome and please let me introduce you my methodology to provide these Fashion Trends Review I edit after every season of Fashion Week. First things first: you might not used to the fashion universe, and you have no idea of what a Fashion Week is. Fashion Week is an event during which the most exclusive fashion designers and fashion houses unveil their collections for the upcoming seasons in a series of runway shows and presentations to buyers and media influencing the fashion industry. It's the most important performance of the fashion industry as these collections define the upcoming fashion trends and influence the entire production line of the fashion trade and probably other industries.
To be in a position to define these Fashion Trends Reviews, I scrupulously attend to every show personally or digitally. New York, London, Milan and Paris, that means more than a thousand fashion shows depending on the season. Then, this is my expertise and experience in fashion that allow me to understand and define the upcoming fashion trends, and decode the evolution of the fashion designers, fashion houses and collections of each Fashion Week based on my understanding and knowledge of the evolution of fashion.
Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025 welcomed the first menswear collection of David Koma and the return of Martine Rose and the fifteenth MSGM's anniversary. Dolce and Gabbana's collection is the epitome of Italian summer, and Sabato De Sarno rides a new wave at Gucci presenting a collection playing between the city allure and beach aesthetic style. Fendi is turning 100 years next year, and is joining the exclusive club of those storied fashion houses and this collection unveiled a taste of this celebration through the historic codes of the house. Prada Men's Spring Summer 2025 collection is the expression of youth optimism and unveiled silhouettes with shrunken shapes as if the clothes have been stolen from the wardrobe of your mother or father and pieces appeared deliberately wrinkled to convey the idea of clothes that have had a life.
