I was there and I was a sobbing/laughing mess during the whole song while shouting the lyrics at the same time (never been so out of tune in my life). I just happened to be wearing my AM shirt that very day, maybe a premonition... I'm still not over it.
At first I was like very sad since they were just singing with their OWN mic (which is strange considering the fact that they normally use one for two) but then the Gods and Lords have heard my cries and BAM ! The end scene was so sweet, like the last minute, when they were singing with one mic, was so adorable. The way that Alex was staring at Miles 😭❤ Another thing, we can see that Alex isn't really sure if he can be close to Miles, you can see it thanks to the way he's placing his hand/arm on Miles's back. He is hesitant and we all know that, in opposition to Miles, Alex needs to be very confident, very on ease on stage to let himself go and doing what he wants. That's why, at the very end of the song, he's smiling and apparently much more confident to act "normally" around Miles (so like they're just about to kiss each other). Anyway, I didn't have plan to do such a rant about this video but yeah, I love them, love the chemistry, MILES'S FUCKING MAKE-UP (i'm so shook, he's gorgeous) and I can't freaking wait for them to go back on stage together 😎

He said in one interviewer that (milex thing) 'is not like that'. He never dated any men so it's more likely that he isn't bi. It's not fair that when two females act the way miles and alex act, it's normal, they're just two best friends, and when men do the same, everybody thinks they're in secret relationship

I don't think it does... The energy is so different.. Alex is out of this game. No more effeminate drag as he behaved like before. He's moved on. Miles' heart got broken
@@dusttrack I don’t think she’s quite as approving of their relationship as Taylor was. Taylor knew miles before Alex and let them honestly do whatever they wanted. No hate to Louise but I just don’t think she’s comfortable with what Miles and Alex shared. She probably told him to tone it down or he’d get an earful.
I mean I don't think that Milex as a friendship is ever gonna die (they are almost soulmates lol) but certainly something was happening around that period of time (2018?) that made them act a bit different around the other, like there was something a bit off, idk

Maybe because it's a Miles show and Alex didn't want to upstage him or, as someone has pointed out, Alex' then new girlfriend was with him at the show and he didn't want to make her uncomfortable by messing about with his mate. We have to wait for a new album/tour to see if the energy is different I suppose

It’s really only Alex that’s pulling away. You can see Louise watching backstage and Alex looks very uncertain, like he might piss her off. I have a feeling she’s not comfortable with his over the top relationship with Miles and doesn’t understand it. Hopefully their relationship isn’t squashed and they can feel free to be themselves again. You can see miles looks pretty heartbroken that Alex isn’t returning his affection.

@@zehra1666 there’s definitely some petty jealousy that either was or still is going on between Louise and Miles. Alex’s relationships have always been complicated and I’ve a feeling that she thinks Miles might actually steal Alex away from her but again, that’s from an outsiders perspective. The nervousness between them both is so painful to watch and I hope that when (and yes I’m saying when. I’m optimistic like that.) TLSP3 comes out that the whole thing will have been solved.
it was the start of alex's new era . arctic monkeys just recently released their new album at the time (tbhc) and every time they do alex seems to do some sort of drastic change ,, aesthetically/physically , musically or both . i also read somewhere it was bc one of his girlfriends at the time broke up w him (i think it was taylor bagley ?) so he shaved his head symbolizing new beginnings , and leaving her in the past edit - grammar
