later at Miles' dad's funeral Miles: do i know you? Peter: yeah..you bumped into me at a science museum and kept circling me and my proffessor...we just thought it was best to ignore you and not cause a scene
They even make the chemistry between Pete and doc even more fleshed out. They really nailed making us care about the characters and the relationships towards one another
I really think that PS4 Otto is among the best ones out there, along with the Spiderman 2 movie Otto. They both started as scientists trying to do a change in people's lifestyle, to make the world better, and they saw Peter's potential. Besides the Spider-Man stuff, he can be pretty quirky and mess up a little, but he has a big heart and a bigger brain. He knows his way through and will always find a way to help. In PS4, Otto was being consume by his own rage against Osborn, and was looking for ways to make his life miserable and destroy everything, from his public life to his personal life. We learn he was part of Martin Li's incident, that he was Osborn partner, and yet he was trying to make something better. In the end, whenever he was still being controlled by his rage or actually coming back to his Old self, he asked Peter for help. This was the moment of truth for Peter. This was the time to decide. He decided to do the right thing, even when it hurts like hell. In the movie, Otto lost his wife, his body was attached to a machine. He wanted to do something and wanted revenge. I don't remember much from the movie, but the last part will always be stuck in my brain. In the last moments, Otto was the one to make the sacrifice, even when it hurts like hell. He destroyed the machine and died doing it. Even when he made so many chaos, this was the one time he was the hero, he saved everyone by saving Spider-Man. I really think Otto Octavius is one of the best villains, and one of the greatest mentors Peter had.
@@adriancastaneda1693 I winder how they’re gonna tackle part 2 with Harry venom, if doc will spill the beans (which I’m guessing he won’t because he cares about peter) him and MJ and miles
@@adriancastaneda1693 no no I mean like how their story and the events of miles story will come into play like is he gonna have a small role in the game and if MJ relationship with Pete will lead on to marriage. Though is want to play peter just peter in the sequel but after playing miles moralis....dude you can’t get enough of him
@Viper Hareous also the number spiderman is still great , they don't show him off as to brainy but he has his moments i.e debate club, creating his own web fluid and using tonys tech to create a new suit which not anyone could pick up and just do . Its a good interpretation.
@Viper Hareous iron man is dead and thats now what a side kick is then because spiderman fought himself not as backup for Ironman Ironman was just funding him and in the next movie he's dead so no I dont agree
@@odhranm1 Maybe he wouldn't be dramatic if they didnt make such a drastic change for seemingly no reason at all? And it looks like dogshit. He's in the right to be angry.
I know that was one of the saddest moments of the entire first game, Seeing him become the villain because he was so nice and almost like a parental figure to peter.
Love the parallel connection in this flashback scene. We get to see Peter and Otto together in the exhibit. We know how close they are and how they ended up. And, we also get to see Miles and Phin's closeness here before we get to have a final showdown with her. The good thing is that Phin doesn't have an ego and reconciled with Miles before her sacrifice, which was the best thing to do for her character.
I feel like Insomniac couldn't figure out how to make the PS4 Peter look younger for this flashback so they just said "fuck it new face" for this game and then changed it in MSM PS5
nah thats a silly theory. All they woulda had to do is get younger images of John Bubniak and mesh them in with the character model. No the real reason is they are making a Spider-Man 2 and in that game, they decided to have voice actor Yuri Lowenthal do the motion capture acting in addition to his voice acting (whereas in the first game, John Bubniak did the motion capture acting), and they meshed fashion model Ben Jordon's face over Yuri's mocap data since 'his face bones apparently line up better with Yuri's than John Bubniak's does'. And so we see some of this new approach being done in this Miles Morales game which is a preview of what to come for Spider-Man 2 for PS5 which most likely will be a PS5 exclusive, not a cross gen multiplatform game like Miles Morales/Spider-Man Remastered. My problem with this is so far what Im seeing performance wise for Peter in Miles and the remaster doesnt match up with the quality of the performance of the original Spider-Man PS4 game. Yes the graphics are better, but John Bubniak's performance looked more believable. John Bubniak is a better live actor than Yuri Lowenthal, but Yuri Lowenthal is a seasoned voice actor who's voice is better. So Insomniac actually had the right idea meshing the two actors together in the first game, taking the best from both worlds and combining their acting strengths. The only drawback was the graphical limitations of the PS4 which obviously isnt a problem moving forward anymore with the PS5. All they had to do was rescan John Bubniak and have him act out the new parts into the newer graphic engine they are using with the newer more advance motion capture tech they got for the PS5. But instead of staying with that combination, they decided to axe John Bubniak and use Yuri for both physical and vocal acting and then face app Ben Johnson's likeness onto the character mocap model data who isnt an actor as he's only lending his likeness. Not to mention the whole weirdness of Peter now looking way younger than he's supposed to be. He now looks like a high schooler not a 24 yr old. Now sometimes this works for say games like The Last of Us 2 when they used that girls face for Ellie's girlfriend (she didnt act they just scanned her face). But in Spider-Man PS4, it was different: John Bubniak acted out all the parts so you see the performance in his face. This new Parker model I dont see the character emoting as well as John's performance did. So it doesnt work as well.
Is Peter Parker suppose to stand out? Beside I played that seen and he DOES kinda stand out A LOT compared to the people around. I kinda wished he blended in with the he crowed better
Seeing Peter and doc back in a friendship makes the last battle fight of the Spider-Man game more emotional. PS. When Peter is leaving Doc for “something important” he is actually going to stop Crime
I was playing this yesterday and I love how, in my mind I was like "Miles and Phin's relationship in a friendly way is so much similar to Peter and Otto" and keep this in mind I said this to myself the moment I started the flashback scene and just when I got done comparing Miles's relationship with Phin to Peter and Otto, the scene at 2:36 happens as if the game heard or knew I was thinking about it.
Actually, there's a theory about how Otto was always like in the end of the game, but he always hided it, it can be seen on how his things in the labs are changing even before he uses the neural interface
@@sergio1753 yes I know that, the neural interface just removed his inhibitions and made him act on his impulses, it's like how getting drunk makes you do things you wouldn't do normally
imagine miles just interrupting pete and ock's convo to just yell at them saying: "HE'S GONNA CAUSE AN OUTBREAK IN NEW YORK CITY AND GOING TO BE ONE OF YOUR STRONGEST ENEMIES. on the side note i'm also gonna be your apprentice.. OH and your aunt dies"
At first When I read the title I was like: “but didn’t they already meet?” But when I realized it was a flashback, with Peter’s blonde hair, and the spider verse outfit, just AWESOME
@@satal6089 Yeah ,but he doesn't look like a Peter Parker, but more like Marry Jane and Peter's future son, our a random side character. He looks like he can be a hacker from Watch Dog's or a fast & furious series.
What a interesting surprise where miles meets pete and doc ock before him and his friend was exploring about the science converter tech nice stuff though.
Yes, i think the reason why they released the game on ps4 as well because some countries have the PS5 now and some countries dont so the countries that dont have will have the game still. If the other countries didnt have ps5 yet and the other have. It would be unfair so i think thats why they released that new spiderman game on PS4 aswell.
to everyone wondering why peters hair is blond it’s either the lighting or maybe his hair color darkened over time because this peter is 4-6 years younger
I would love that you could come back to all the places that you have been during the story as Miles Morales. Like your apartment, (In Spiderman Ps4 you6can go to FEAST every time you want)
@@bichonnation9494 first off it’s not like that stops him from thinking out loud anytime in other games! I just thought it would be a cool detail. Doesn’t need to add anything to the story, more like a thing the players would know. No need to be an asshole about it. Second wtf is a “a profess”
@@getaloadofthisguy2927 I wasn’t being rude about it in any way at all. Don’t know where you got that from. And sorry I meant to type “professional” lmao.
They put a lot of care into this part. They could've just had it be that he bumps into Miles and that's it. But they actually made it into it's own moment that matters.
@@Robert-ur5xy you play as miles. If you see it, miles sees it. We already know that Peter is Spider Man so what is the point. There is also already a hint in the scene that he is Spider Man. At least keep a level of subtlety in there.
