Only thing that puzzles me is how they're scared to tell their loved ones about ANYTHING but feel comfy being on national TV for everyone to know. Make it make sense.
I think Milan & Miles were cute together.... the ONLY reason why they didn’t work is because Miles made Milan A MOMENT instead of taking him serious as a partner & have a honest, committed relationship.

Seeing Miles’ family embrace a Milan brought tears to my eyes. A lot of people don’t have the love and acceptance of their families after coming out so it’s beautiful to see.

I love when someone tries to "expose" someone else’s sexuality to their family and the family is actually accepting and understanding bc it spoils whatever reaction the initial person expected .

Milan is who he is and didn't try to hide it, that anger comes from someone telling you that you're special to them, they love you etc. then that person not claiming you publicly.
I don’t understand why down low men act like it’s possible to have a successful relationship with another man who is out. It’s gonna be a struggle on both sides. Either come out or break up.
Miles was a good guy he just had some issues with coming out but he did. So Milan should just have given him time and everything would have worked itself out…

But you can't expect someone to run after you the whole time either and just wait for you until you are finally ready. At some point you have to be clear with someone and tell them whether you're ready or not, just so the other can know what they're dealing with. It's been 2 years. I think in those 2 years, Miles could've at least been clear and told Milan he wasn't ready so he could walk away. Him letting Milan run after him like a little puppy was unfair and mean.

And im saying this as a closeted bi guy, straight women and gay dudes have a lot of issues with bisexual men. On top of that if u throw your cultural background into the mix, in this case the black community , and its way harder. Miles was so conflicted on the show. I know first hand how it goes. I was a GF of a closeted man. I spent 5 years with him and bore his son. The dishonesty is what cut me deep. Took me years to get over it. I was disappointed not angry at him but he could’ve just told me.
Milan is a bigger person than me. Cause I would not have let miles mom and sister come at me like that. Then the way that Miles didn’t come to his rescue was craaazy.

Although its set up, the message this storyline conveyed was that Miles is a toxically selfish person who only moves on his own times and thinks everybody has to roll with it and his family enables him to lie and get away with it, also to be so selfish and think everything has to revolve around him. Often times, Milan was a bit clingy, too needy and pushy, but to me, his character was way more tolerable than Miles'.
@@o.m5091 Everybody knows Love & Hip-Hop is majorly scripted and staged. Not a lot of scenes or fights are authentic. Production either eggs them on or they set it up 100%.
I love that this brings awareness to the LGBTQ community and I stan for it all. Milan & Miles were brave enough to tell their story on a show like this regardless of reaction and ratings. Just as people said, it was a double standard when they came on opposed from Erica & Cyn but VH1, yall so wrong for including Miles song " lemme see you bounce that ass just like a trampoline" there is no reason why I spit my water out on that part.

You need as much folks on your side when you open up because you never know how those who aren't aware or ignorant may receive it. The person coming out has to he totally ready. Never been in that situation, but I've seen it and it can be hard and destructive af! We're in a transition phase and not everyone is accepting as yet.

Milan is GORGEOUS. I hope more gay or bisexual men who are afraid of "damaging their masculinity" feel encouraged to just love whoever they want. Miles really did care about Milan. He wasn’t ready to come out to his friends and family yet. I’m gay and when I came out, I came out at my own pace. When I did come out, my friends and family were okay with it. They still are okay with me being gay.
Based solely on this clip, I see Milan as the one in the wrong. He never accepted Miles and always wanted more and more from him. Miles sacrificed everything to give Milan everything he asked for but it was never enough. Specific example: Milan pushed for Miles to move in. Although hesitant, Miles eventually conceded and moved in with Milan. The very next day, Milan quickly resorted to kicking out Miles rather than resolve an argument. I believe Milan has some issues of his own that need to be worked out but he seems like a great guy otherwise.

I understand Miles struggle with coming out to certain people though. You don’t know how people will react, how you’ll be perceived, etc. People will accept a gay woman (or a women who has had same sex relations) , before they will a gay man. That’s why so many women on LHH have no problem exposing their escapades with women, you’d never catch a man doing that. And then people wonder why so many guys are DL

When I say I can relate ultimately. Just watching this caused me to lose my appetite in a way because I saw myself literally!! Falling in love with a man is one thing, yet waiting for someone to live their truth is something else. Giving up your life just to embrace and prune their life is not easy yet you're still waiting on HOPE to jump in and make all the superficial things reality. I love you MILAN I know what you are went through. Miles, learn to love yourself, everything and everyone else will fall in place.

Early on, I was not so eager to tell my family, but I really did not care whether they accepted me or not and that was the truth, I really never cared.

I don't think they're together. Amber and Miles did a mixtape and took a bunch of promotional photos. Miles and Amber don't have any kids together. He takes care of Amber's daughter but they don't have any kids together.
