Forget them, we didn't let them play! Nuno packed our midfield with Dominguez, Yates, JWP and Anderson and basically gave us the opportunity to shut out their lines through the middle. Moreno handled Salah perfectly, as did Williams when he came on. I was delighted we had them right after the international break with Salah and Diaz having long journeys home and with a lot of our players having not gone on international duties - perfect cocktail for a 1-0 win!

The Nottingham Forest defence was incredible. Moreno owned Salah and Aina played extremely well too. The CD's and GK were also really good.

Liverpool have been excellent this season, we were rightly singing their praises before today with their beautiful football. Today Liverpool weren't great because Forest were simply brilliant and had their number. Salah, Diaz, Mac Allister weren't given the time and respect to do what they do best, and that's because of Aina, Moreno and Yates. Forest deserve the plaudits and Liverpool will have much easier games than this underappeciated Forest side.

I am disappointed with our performance obviously we were very sloppy with our passing today, we missed a few quite decent chances and Alisson kept the score down too with some great saves, Forest came with a game plan and played it well, they done a job on us, simple as that.

Too many players were thinking about the Milan game and thought they could beat Forest without going into 2nd gear and you can’t do that.

As a Forest supporter since early 70s it’s about time we had a win at Anfield; but no matter what anyone says about Liverpools performance, this was a masterclass of tactics by Nuno; we restricted Liverpool to one chance which was the mistake by Yates; and then there was the fumble by Matt Sells but other than that there weren’t any BIG chances. Then we changed it up with pace on the wings which bought us the goal; it may have stayed 0-0 had Slott not moved Trent AA into midfield, but all in all great tactics from Nuno; we have built a bigger squad now with cover everywhere and the ability to make changes and have different plans for all opponents; ok we won’t win the league but we really are a squad that only needs a couple more players and we will be challenging for Europe - if we had got a striker with pace and the ability to hold the ball we’d get more possession - so here’s a msg to the BIG 6, don’t think you have a god given right to beat the SMALLER clubs as one or two have ambition.

First season back after 23 years everyome and his dog had us down and we signed 30 players and stayed up with people laughing in our faces (think only 7 of the signings are still with the club). 2nd season syndrome the powers that be fabricated a relegation battle as the 3 promoted teams were so bad they picked on Everton and forest for points deduction. This season Forest have recruited well, look at how we played today, this is what happens when you write Nottingham Forest off, you're made to look stupid! Anyone stupid enough to write Forest off will be punished. Under Nuno we are a much more professional premier league team that is incredibly hard to beat. Under estimate us at your peril.
