3:10 Jojo’s hand stuff, Kevon stomping, them embracing and synchronized hand stuff followed by Kevon tossing his hat and turning away while smiling makes my day lol
My brother and I went to the movies 3 times to watch Soul Food. The soundtrack we had on repeat when I first bought it. He died in 2009 in his sleep and I’ll come and listen to the jamz that hold memories of him. R.I.P Eddie! Miss you big bro ❤
Kevon’s voice is no joke. So underrated, imo. And of course K-Ci does it every time. I marveled at these gentlemen’s vocal abilities as a kid and still do…
Who is still listening in May 2024.Wow Milestone was something else..Song is a love song,a heartbreak song and a bye bye song..what a 90's masterpiece +!❤
This is two sets of Brothers, all with powerhouse voices, yet they don't over power each other on this track. Kevin....OMG, gives me chills. Another soul ballad that will stay in rotation for decades. I live in the past when it comes to Good music.
One thing I’ve always admired with this song is how Babyface, despite being the most published of the group, just sit back comfortably in the background and let the others take it away. Bloody brilliant!
I'd say at the time this song was made, KC & JoJo were the most published. Babyface had produced many award winnings songs for other artists but KC & Jojo were blown up at this stage with their own records as well as prior fame with Jodeci. Regardles, this was an all star dream team!
@@mikeybone99 INCORRECT. Lol. Worst take I've seen in a while. Babyface was wayyyyy more solidified than K-Ci and Jojo in the music business by this time. As an artist, writer, producer, label executive. You name. This was 1997.
Babyface is a genius!!!! Bringing these wonderfully talented men with all that passion together was amazing! Song like these you don’t even want to sing. Just want to listen with your eyes closed and your hand on your heart! Most underrated parts of the song IMO are: @ 2:38 K-Ci “yeeeeaaaahhhhh” @ 3:23 Jo-Jo harmonizing with Kevon “Care for me toooooooooo” I feel both of those lines deep in my soul ❤️
@@prometheus200 sings.... we can barely get y'all to call & court us women in the modern day age dating has been destroyed when men were chivalrous 😥😭🙄
Classic song right here with clean, beautiful and sweet words of love and compassion. Yup, grown people music without any impurities. We need rnb like this again. 2023 and beyond for this awesome jam. ❤
We're about to hit 2022, and I still haven t heard "ANY GROUP" sing a song like these men did. Geez!!! This is that good touch your soul music. Why did the groups like this go away!!!
Unfortunately because the 90s men , we’re all about real ❤️ and didn’t feel away to express themselves, today’s vibes are all about , sexually attraction, Repping your Postcode, hating on one another, it’s sad but that’s what happened, the Music Industry is about Trends now, as that’s how money is made not about how vocally , good you are , unfortunately it’s all changed, on the bright side that’s why we can rely on this tunes still to reminisce
I weep for this generation…I can’t remember the last time I wanted to play a song all night…and had a female in mind every time I played it…rewinding a cassette tape….or CD on repeat …shit…they don’t know…
I agree with you I really wish the 2020s would have a rejuvenation of 90s music again seriously I hate today's music now it's all mumble fast talk and corny bubblegum songs.
Ledel Grant sad but true..no one on the video have on a wife beater & calling women out their name..it’s crazy how music has taken a turn for the worse😞😢..we need sm of the older guys to resurface & mentor the new guys
You damn right and will forever be remembered. No two ways about it. Sometimes I wish there could be a place where one could go sit to dine and listen to just oldies. Don't make any mistake to go with any younger person because they might not enjoy except those who were introduce to that kind of music when they were growing up
He has the best tenor voice, my man Jojo second of ALL time! I WISH I could hit the notes he does! I think him and El Debarge are tied for my all time favorite tenors of all time

Babyface was a musical genius and his music will NEVER grow old, because like The Whispers his music only gets better with time And he will be highly missed by his extraordinary talent of his family & Friends and a long history of fans worldwide
Baybface king of R&B song writing. This man literally made most of the stars of our generation. And remained humbled through it all. You never once heard his name in a scandal. He deserves all his flowers now. A once in a lifetime talent. Im blessed to have witnessed his greatness.
40 years old and I feel my heart has waxed cold to human relationship love, but has grown exponentially for the love of GOD! I like these 90s songs because it reminds me of my youth and a innocent curiosity towards girls.
Man this is a master piece! They way their voices blended together, the harmony, the vocals, and they look like they were having fun..Great job fellas!
JoJo is a great singer in his own right. But the way Kevon dropped him off on the 6th floor and went to the penthouse was crazy! Still my favorite part of the song!
