She did a lot of the theatrics to detract from her true vulnerability which oddly makes sense. That's crazy: so many people (not huge fans, of course) remember Miley and think of her "vulgar" performance of this song with Robin Thick and stop there. Just look into the deepness of this specific song... Miley is such a fucking icon: more than the quality of her music, it's the meaning and reason behind every song (I won't even get into her latest music, which is absolutely iconic and incredible). Miley is such a great example of how wrong you can be when judging a person. I wish I could explain this better. I totally came to this realization after listening to Midnight Sky. Miley is huge...
