@@youredelicious9945 but that's what makes his interviews so great. It goes beyond the general topics interviewers would ask. He offers us a depth look into the artists's lives.
i think he acts like a smartass sometimes and tries too hard to predict what the artist is going to say, and it's self-serving and ruins the interview. he lacks humility and genuine openness
@@gustavo33souza I appreciate that bue he should balanced wuth a little bit more about the artists craft, I think the artist experiences are very valuable as long as connected with the art theyre presenting and I think he loses that opportunity sometimes, for exemple a lot of the songs from the album talk about the same personal matters Miley was talking but he never connected one thing with another, that would have been great.
Miley NEEDS to write a book. I would totally buy it. She has such profound thoughts that really relate to almost every person on the earth. Her journey is so interesting, and to learn more about it would really help so many people going through grief and experiences like hers.
She actually did have her own book out called "Miles To Go" and I believe she wrote that book when she was either 16 or 17 which during this time she was still doing Hannah Montana. It's a pretty deep book for something written by a teenager. 😊
@UCyNZlvZ3MhuIpOrXHGTNK8w I've read it. But I want to read a book from her present self. She's learned so much more now. plus, I'm sure Disney censored Miles To Go.
@Hermosa esposa exactly but that gives me an idea what about a journal or a diary, maybe write everytime she feel like she changed or learned something new.
I don't know if she's diagnosed with it but 1000% she has ADHD!!! And that's what makes her so chatty and open (and has made me realise why I 've always found her so relatable)
When COVID started, she did a IG TV series called “Bright Minded” where she & other celebrities would sit down virtually and have a one-on-one about mental health. Basically a podcast/TV show. You should check it out!
Nina i watch your show. I have downloaded to watch repeatedly.love from india . I just finised watching the episode where nicholette worked in a shake shop.
All of her interviews are humble. The media portrays her a certain way and it changes some sheep's perspectives about her. Shes such a smart talented young lady.
Let me just say that Zane is possibly one of the greatest interviewers ever. It's actually unfair to call them interviews, these *conversations* he has with stars. He reminds us that they're all just human beings like the rest of us, and really brings out the best in everyone!
“As unique as I am, I’m not special” - love this distinction and I totally believe it. Nobody burns brighter than another, there is room for everyone at the “top”.
No..no there is not room...There is a reason why tribes have a single chief...Not everybody can lead...Not everyone is born with the touch of Somthing great..Im not religious but if Jesus is real he'd be a great example..Not everybody can be Jesus.. He was born special...Certain people are born with gifts most dont have because they are here to lead an teach those who are lower in consciousness etc how to live an progress as humans ..Im one of those leaders we are talking bout.
@@geistthatswhys6981 I agree that there needs to be someone to push the button on behalf of the group/tribe, but in this case I meant there is room for everyone to achieve their goals and aspirations without having to take another down in the process. There is a sad idea in society that you have to be “special” in order to be able to achieve anything worthwhile and it’s a myth - everyone’s dreams are different and they shape shift to become more realistic over time. There is always a space at the metaphorical top because that top is different for every single person.
Who knew id leave a Miley interview more introspective and aware of myself. So much respect for her and her journey, I’m inspired and so happy that she’s chose to share it with us.
This interview is actually blowing my mind. I've never watched an interview before where you can see genuine empathy and care between the interviewer and interviewee. This is the most genuine press I've ever seen. This made me realize how important genuine connections are, even in your professional life. Much love to you all
of course male society and its double standars will portrait a powerful and talented woman , comfortable with her sexuality and who takes her own decisions as a bad influenc...
This human is just a lovely soul. Not for being perfect, but for being authentic. For being a real fucking person, who just happens to be famous, in the spotlight, has come through and is ongoingly going through, stuff. If ever I needed to hear "it's okay. You're just a human doing human stuff" it would be now. Thank you for showing up as you are, and inviting us to follow wherever you're going next.
I am a 49 year old girl who comes from a very grounded, very loving family with led by a wise and magnanimous father AND mother... I have always been a philosophical thinker and here I am sitting down and listening to Miley and enjoying learning from this twenty something precious girl. I’ve always believed that only with age comes wisdom but this girl has EXPERIENCED so much and is so inclined to ponder life that she truly has developed a wisdom beyond her age.
this genuinely doesn't feel like an interview. it feels like we're observing two friends having a stimulating and intelligent conversation, which i really like. it's not a strict sticking-to-the-script, they're just going with the flow the conversation goes to, and actually bouncing off of each other's answers which is a really refreshing change.
I love how her speaking voice has changed as she’s gotten older. She has such a beautiful deep speaking voice. I was listening to a radio Disney interview she did and she voice was so high and cute, it’s cool to see the progression. Love her
@@dr.tadashizhang7719 she says in many interviews that her voice drastically changed once she lost everything in that fire. Trauma can effect many things one of them being your voice and how you express it through tone. she believes that is why it has been altered heavily. I dont think smoking for a the years that she did would alter it as drastically and suddenly like it seemed to have happened.
One of my favorite parts about this interview is Miley’s reference to the theory of the two voices inside your head not not being you, and that there’s a third party in there who’s actually just an observer, the observer being the self. I’ve never heard of that before, but the way she elaborated her perspective on the theory and how she applies it to her own life put a light in my soul. That’s just one example, but there were SOOOO many gems of knowledge shared between Miley and Zane throughout this entire interview. Two very insightful minds.
@@thecuantocabronshow5072 she's basically been a rock chick since Hannah montana days, she just hidde it on her albums but live she has always being the same
The two voices and you being the observer in between that Miley talks around 31:00 is a concept from Hindu/Buddhist philosophy. Basically there are several stages to enlightenment: 1) to understand you are not your body, 2) to understand you are not the voices {i.e. thoughts} in your head Miley talks about, 3) to understand you are not the feeling that you feel in your heart, 4) you do meditation/breathing/mantras long enough to stop your thoughts/feelings, 5) after a while of doing 4) you attain enlightenment :)
Wow. she is a very prolific speaker, i’m glad she shares that part of her mind with her audience. It’s really meaningful and builds a great connection with her fans.
there's something so refreshing about her. i understand why people think she's strange, but she embodies what it's like to free yourself from shame and the weight of other peoples opinions and she radiates that. it makes you feel so good about yourself, and let's you consider seeing yourself in a different light too
@@CookieCreamCrumble it's the opposite babe. Some stays relevant by staying on their generic mediocre lane and it's unfortunate that those who reinvent themselves never got the recognition they deserve. Just look at miley, she continues to grow but people can't move on from her past era. That's what's unfortunate not the one you said.
@@dominikg8500 The only people lying are y'all, so delusional lol. Miley's career seems like it's at a dead end, she doesn't know what she wants to do and is just throwing everything at the wall hoping it will stick. Delusional stans say that about every new album that comes out, but usually they're just exaggerating because the music that's being released is so trash. There's no soul in her music, or these other artists out here. It feels empty
Every "deep Miley interview" makes me sure that we actually grew up with each other, especially mentally. We really think the same way, idk how it happened, maybe being a fan for approximately 10 years?!
I feel the same way! I feel so conected to her and to what she's talking about, most of those topics are about the same issues i've been passing thorugh this last years.. She's like a friend! Love her so much, she's so inspiring!
Last year when Miley came to Kosovo to sing on Dua’s festival, 18 yo me had to lie to my parents and escape from the country, just to see them live for the first time! There was a war between 🇽🇰Kosovo and 🇷🇸Serbia 20 years ago and people are still frightened. Surprisingly, I was nicely welcomed by Albanians, made memorble friendships and had the best time EVER, because, as Miley said, music connects people! 💕
I literally grew up with this girl. Since Hannah Montana. I’m so glad that she has found her genre. Her voice fits so well with it to the point where her songs, like prisoner, basically her recent album is like really catchy to me and lots of people. It’s amazing. I’m so proud 💓
*Miley's speaking voice* reminds me of *Dolly Parton.* Their voices are completely different, but both have *that charismatic sound* in their voice that makes you wanna *listen for hours on end.*
One of the best artist interviews ever. Decades from now this will be used in documentaries on Miley, she brought so many fresh ideas to the table here and so much insight into this era of her music and life.
This girl is so relatable. I was never a hannah montana girl growing up. Im in my mid 30s now and I have become such a fan of this woman over the last few years. I love that she has now found her REAL sound. This girl is highly intelligent and not in a way where she is trying to impress anyone, she just shares her true thoughts and beliefs. One of the most real celebs out there!
She is a huge inspiration for me partly cause she is herself a breath of fresh air from most celeberties that seems very fake. She is just the way she is and I love it she is so cool
Miley is one of the few people who I will sit down and give my full attention to. Her mind is so fascinating and her process is so interesting and I love it. Getting to grow up from a young child to now being a 23 year old and seeing her growth as a woman and an artist has been one of the best experiences.
I've literally been a "fan" since Hannah Montana lol and i agree with what she said about fans/audience like i don't feel like a fan i feel more connected to her then that. I love her so much.
Seeing Miley's growth over the years has been incredible. You can have a lot of opinions about her but her lack of care for whatever negative things other people think about her is just something people should admire
I always think about all of the music that artists have never released before! Or all of the people that wanted to write music but felt discouraged to do so, it's so crazy to think about!!
This is going to be her best album !!! She's so honest to herself , so unique ! She's literally the most versatile artist of this generation !! I Love You Miley ❤️ 🇵🇪
5:07 "I am not the person I was yesterday. Last night cutting with Stevie Nicks on the phone-that changed me forever. Everything changes me forever. I will never be who I was yesterday, in a way that every night before I go to sleep I say goodbye to myself-because that person is done. There's a sadness to it sometimes bc I do evolve very quickly bc I'm very absorbant, and recently I've had to do an inventory of what I've owned as mine that isn't mine. Bc I think whether its ur parents, generational, the way ur raised we're all just an equation of all those things adding up."
The way this interview hit me is different. ❤️ “Every day I say goodbye to myself and I'm not the same on the next day. Everything changes me forever everyday.” The level of emotional intelligence Miley has... it's breathtaking. And I totally agree with what she said about love and how all humans look for a partner and doesn't pay attention for the love we have all around us in our life. Also the sense of what the family built x what you want for you. Thank you so much for this interview, Miley ❤️
I'm not Miley's fan, I just like to listen to her songs from time to time, but, everyone needs to have this kinds of person in their life. Supportive, talkative, open-minded, actually NOT SPOILED, full of ideas. Makes you want to be a better person tomorrow, especially in this era of technology and social media. Man, I just want to listen to her talking about these things because it makes me feel motivated to be and do better. Great job Miley! Keep it up and be a true icon to the young ones so they can learn what actually matters in life and about themselves through your experience.
@@nelson.imports6434 lol I didn't even mention BIG, yes, I don't know all of her songs nor almost anything about her personal life, I just listen to her songs and like some of them, respect her as a human being and singer, that's it. Not a fan :D
@@tia9710I understand you. I just don't understand why Americans can't see that she has become a very interesting woman and a high quality artist and singer. Her version of Slide Away at VMA 2019 is sublime. I am Brazilian born in 1958 and yes, I am a big fan! Greetings from Brazil!
Zane's interviews are the best. He's so thoughtful, respectful and it always feels like an intelligent discussion. Miley is so interesting to listen to, so well spoken. Sooo good.
"We remember the past better than it was, present worse than it is and future more resolved than it ever will be" so true, something to keep always in mind!
Yeah and I think it will always be difficult for her to be with a man. She loves deep but she’s so intelligent she can’t be with any one who is not as intelligent and that’s rare to find someone who would easily fit in with this little lady’s intelligence. People can’t match that they can admire that but they shy away from it more because they can’t understand it.
I need this interview to be about 923405 hours longer than it is. She is incredibly eloquent person, I could listen to her forever, especially that I am in a constant process of learning English and feeling comfortable speaking in this language.
Huge props to the interviewer for being so down to earth and asking such clever things, while still creating a comfortable environment where he also offers up his own stuff to bounce off of. *Felt really genuine on his and her part.*
Her soul is so unique and down to earth. I feel like she’s someone who could understand me better than anyone else. I appreciate her for who she is and always will. I have so much love for her.
Wow, it's really deep and relatable when Miley talks about the voices in the head, and none of them are actually her, and then the third one observing.
Untethered soul?! My jaw dropped I’ve had that book in my night stand for 4 years after my first yoga teacher recommended it to me. I don’t know why I paused my reading at some point but wow. Did NOT expect to here this here but I’m also not that surprised. We really are all constantly evolving. Much love
