why are all of you being so mean? miley likes joan jett, nirvana, the runaways, the beatles, etc. and if she wants to make a cover of all this amazing artist, then she can. you're just judging her because she sings pop, and is a disney star. but, c'mon... she just wants to sing the music that she really likes.
O.K., now, I have some more respect for Ms. Cyrus knowing that she's a fan of one of my rock idols. So, she can't touch Joan's sexy-bad-rock-and-roll attitude, but who can? That's O.K.

I don't want to offend miley cyrus fans but she shoudn't do joan jett cover or any other cover matter of factly. if she wasn't 18 her dad wouldn't stand for the crap she is pulling. Like the outfits and her language.
