Now I’m here listening to it 10 months after she passed away, holding her ashes around my neck, just sobbing bc her son is turning 5 and he wishes for his mommy to come back. I know how you feel. My dad passed away Sept 30th 2022. I'd give anything to have him back. The pain never goes away. The song reminds me of him, and I listen to it a lot.

My grandma and I used to watch Hannah Montana together when I was a child, she and I always sang songs with each other when I heard catchy songs that we knew the lyrics too, we sang this song a million times together, on February 26 2017 she had died from cancer, she died on one of the best days of my life, I had a good day and I wanted to see her again, but when I came home on that day my mom said that she got a call from the hospital and said that she had passed away in her sleep, I cried so much, I can’t even think about that day without crying.... Since than I stopped thinking about the past and moved forward, but lately I’ve just felt really empty and sad deep down inside, I decided to visit some songs from my childhood, I remember listening to this when I was younger and singing it with her, it brought back so many memories that I literally cried, I’ve honestly been listening to this for awhile now, I can’t believe that she’s gone, I can’t believe anything, and I can’t believe that this song reminds me of her so much, this song is literally describing my feelings, word from word, I just can’t believe it, my family and I have been speaking, we want to throw a little memorial for her and invite all my family, we might do it and I might cry, I might just be sitting alone at a table or something listening to this song, and if I get the chance to do so, I will sing this song in loving memory to my beloved Nana.
