Thanks for posting. I used to work in Milford from 1985-1990.. Living in Rocky Hill and driving to Milford I had no idea this beach was so close by. My son lived in Bridgeport for a while and mentioned Milford was really nice. My travels always took me to Commerce Drive and occasionally the center of town but never to this nice beach.
It’s very pretty! Worth the trip on a nice day for sure. I liked it in fall for a walk.. been there in summer and there we a lot more people around. Thanks for your story!
Thank you so much for this! I had so much fun walking out to Charles Island but just barely made it back, lol!! I've been living in Texas and I hate it. I'll be moving back home in 2024, and finally I'll stop crying about missing home. Always a New Englander ❤❤❤.
Oh that’s wonderful to hear! I glad my you found afternoon in CT brought you good memories! Moving by Milford? I have lived in CT all my life. Never been to texas ..happy new year!
@@AfternooninConnecticut Happy New Year to you, too. I lived in Milford in 1986, right off the green, can't remember the street. My cousins live in Milford. I've always loved Milford! My sons were born at Milford Hospital in 1987!! I'm originally from Westport, which is waaay too expensive!! I'm looking up past New Haven to move. My brother lives in Black Rock. I can't wait to get back, I don't like it here at all.
I’m planning a trip to Connecticut and wondering what is your favorite place. I want a beach area but also more things to do other than the beach. Thanks for all the videos.
Your welcome :) if you have a car and like to adventure around Mystic would be a good choice there are a lot of hotels in that area, close to beaches, casinos and other cute towns, wineries, breweries, great seafood and bakeries. Hallmark movie towns. Lol unfortunately we don’t have a beach town that has a lot of resorts on it. There are a few but not like a beach town for visitors most of our beaches are town or state owned. What time of year are you coming?
