I've been lucky enough to see the B-29 Enola Gay fly. At the time I was a youngster and just thought it's a cool plane. Which it is. I got older and realized the significance of that aircraft. Still makes me smile and emotional to this day knowing the plane's impact on WWII.

I just don't understand what is with the F 35C, that at every airshow they are demonstrated, the pilots take off and landing aircraft in a conventional manner. I have yet to see an F 35 take off and land vertically with no forward motion at an air show.

AFAIK this is to protect the runway from heavy abrasion. The same happened with the AV-8/GR3

There are 3 variants. The "A," which is the Air Force model, the "B," which is the Harrier replacement for the Marines, as will as the British RAF and Navy, and the "C," which is the version for full size carriers for the Navy and Marines. There's more going other places you can look up, but that's the basics for what you're looking for.

F35B is the vertical landing one used by the Marine corps. the F35A is the conventional take off one used by the Air Force, and the F35C is the carrier capable one with a stronger landing gear for carrier landings used by the navy. Just to clear all the confusion up for ya.

The chinook looked like it could do with some air in rear tyres. Not up on my helicopters, but the one at 20:35 has to be one of the ugliest I've seen. The tail arrangement looks like an afterthought designed by a school kid. The victorians had a philosophy that if it looked right, it worked right. Love the warbirds, though, and my favourite Hercules (c130)

7:13 Уродливый самолет, пока все нахваливают b-737, я лишь вижу генетическое несовершенство, переходяшее из поколения в поколение, а именно, короткие шасси, и чтобы поместить более сильные и мощные двигатели, их необходимо делать плоскими, из за чего теряется мощность тяги🤦🤦🤦
