Military and Warbird Arrivals - Sunday - EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 

The cross winds last year at AirVenture were just brutal. Not favorable for either runway. So disheartening to see the aircraft that ground looped during landing. A thrill of a lifetime to fly to AirVenture, and then end up bending your airplane. That has to sting. I think the F-16 has a skid plate to protect the engine nozzle (but I may be wrong). Sure looks like this one scraped the runway at the 5:18 mark.

That P-63F is the one that was destroyed in a fatal mid-air crash, just about four months later.

That F-16 got so close to a tailstrike I was cringing at the sight!

How has it already been 7 months?

You had a video of Bataan taking off from the west coast, but I knew she was scheduled to arrive in Oshkosh on Monday. I didn’t see her in your Oshkosh videos.
