The coup didn't even last as long as a playthrough of that game. The general who attempted this coupe was about to be fired... and apparently with cause looking at how (luckily) poorly executed this was.

Bolivian indegenous fought Spain 15 yrs to gain its independence. In 1848 Peru invaded Bolivia to annex the whole country, but Augustin Gamarra, peruvian president and Nation top militar died in combat. Bolivia defeated Peru with less soldiers.

The current Bolivian president was actually in Russia the other week at the St P'berg Economic Forum and has good relations with them. Also, it's some units of the army involved, not the whole army.
