I'm surprised they didn't have a float with a banner saying, " Thanks Joe !" on it !! What was achieved ? For awhile at least the Christians there were free to worship the LORD. And women had a lot of freedom to go to schools and have businesses . At least we tried . However, as the saying goes, " you can lead a horse to water .." They seem to have better equipment than the Indian or Pak army. Original equipment not the watered down version even if purchased from the US. Moreover, no restrictive operational usage.
The Taliban have already signed a licence contract with China to extract oil in the north. China also has interest in investing over $10bn in lithium and other rare minerals extraction. Not a bullet fired and while the west spent decades on nothing, China was cutting through Asia and Africa with its BRI, not a bullet fired.

The Taliban despite their cruel and barbaric leadership system in Afghanistan 🇦🇫, has been very fortunate in that the Russians retreated from that country leaving behind a huge amount of military armaments . Years later, the US military ⚔ unable to continue their mission in Afghanistan, left even larger amounts of even more highly sophisticated military equipment for the Taliban to grab hold of, to further enhance their military capabilities.
