Military precision! Trains4u 3D printed Resin Scorpion tank kit build in OO 

What a cracking little models they are! I am also an armour modeller as well as a railway modeller, despite not having my own layout (another story) but I would be quite happy to create a diorama with these and some of those Warflats… Those little kits make up into either a Scorpion or a Scimitar. For info, you may be interested in the following: The Scorpion was outfitted with a 76mm cannon while the Scimitar used a 30mm L21A1 Rarden cannon. The Scimitar's 30mm cannon proved to be more versatile and as such is still produced to this day. Both the FV101 and FV107 have seen combat in the Falklands, the Gulf War, and more recently in Middle Eastern conflicts. I’ll shut up now. Nice work, Dan! PS: Any chance of a layout tour one day? Nice job (although way out of my time period)... with some more weathering these can be a good addition to what Artitec has on offer, especially if done in HO scale

I built 3 of these Scorpion/Scimitar models from Trains4U. I think the Airfix version was marginally better but these are almost as good. I had built 3 Airfix versions years ago. Painting the tracks afterwards is a bit fiddly so next time might consider painting and then gluing.

Hi Dan. Why do yo not try and repaint one of your Airfix Scorpion wagons tanks in the new colours. You will surprised how much better they look. Might I also suggest a touch of clear matt varnish over where the superglue on the straps attaches to the wagons and is a bit shiny. I prefer to use a touch of clear silicone sealant to hold things like the tanks down. Makes it very easy to remove them and leaves no residual glue marks behind. Again you have shown an inspiring video. Keep the good work up.

nice models dan do they do any plant as i struggle to br blue period construction plant ie hymac 955 cat track loaders ect there seem to be plenty of really old or really new plant maybe a new line for trains for anyway nice video you and the family have a great Christmas and new year all the best mate

I think £12,50 is a bit steep for something that takes a few minutes to build
