You should head out there early morning to check out fleet week. I did yesterday. Waited almost 4 hours but I got to see the Carl Vinson Aircraft Carrier. That's was neat. Lots of neat stuff going on at the IOWA as well.
They had the USS Essex LHD north of there a few years ago, They had tours of the ship but the line was too long. That would be great to see the IOWA My dad was in the Navy as an ammo loader during WW II in the Chicago Navy Yard
While I respect them and thank them for their service.. Why are they picking up trash??? Why not let them have a break this weekend and be appreciated?? Make the homeless and criminals pick up trash! In any case thank you!
they need to turn over all that sand 2 ft deep with those scrapper trucks to get the neddels out Im a local and would never go to that beach its destroyed santa monica as well
