Exactly! It's when it's packaged, for example I worked in a deli in a grocery store whenever I would package say cheese it has 30 days before it's bad or our meals had 7 days so depending on whatever it is
Me: Gets back from Afghanistan Chief: We have 2 taskings coming up. 12 for a TDY to Florida. 2 for a deployment to Qatar. Me: I'll take the deployment. Chief: You just got back. Me: My divorce just got finalized. Chief: Pack your bags.
Him: "I'm a combat vet." Me: "You won't like me." Him: "Why not?" Me: "I'm happy and entertain myself. I won't text and call you non-stop." Him: (2 months later) "You didn't NEED ME!" 😅😂
My guy, I'm such a dumb jar head that I changed my first re-enlistment incentive from Miramar, CA to 29 Palms, CA. I just had to be stationed with the infantry. And my MOS was Intel!!!! Oxy-moron confirmed!
"What was a necessity on deployments?" - The internet. The provider in Camp Victory was absolutely amazing (ran by Swedish furries). The one in Bagram was worse than dial-up and cost $100 a month (ran by Indians). Air Force by the way.
Uh, a USAF pilot's retention bonus is $600k (12 years/ $50k/yr). Also, that 'room' is typical USAF Bachelor Officer Quarters. Don't know how a Marine got one, lol!
Bruh the one about not kicking people out for things that they should is so true. There was a guy in my basic platoon that had TWO Negligent Discharges and he still graduated.
that Marine's "barracks" just looks like some weird ass double apartment in Japan... lived there ~5yrs, their sinks and kitchens have a very distinct look at the cheap level lmao
When i was in the Army I was stationed at Fort Knox in 2009 to 2011 and under 1st ID... we had brand new barracks with living room and kitchen and stuff in our rooms. It was a new thing then.
I did 5 years in the British army (royal artillery) gunner here through and through… joined at 17 and left at 22 I’m 23 and I’ve found a job that fits but I can for sure say I do not miss anything… painting shovels and crawling in a corridor covered in everyone’s sick is not fun
Sometimes i truly believe Niko is B.S. about being in the Army cuz he be actin like he 100% in the Navy askin for extra sausage gravy every morning for breakfast
Marine Barracks room is definitely in South Korea Camp Mujuk. Built by the South Korean government as a gift to the Marines. Not built by the U.S. government fact. Marine Barracks are typically just a room with a sink and bathroom.
Hiya, Nikko. I hope you're doing well. Stupid WiFi got all messed up so I didn't get to catch this straight away, that's okay though. I hope your week has been going well and I hope you and the pupper have a wonderful weekend ❤ God bless x
I know that hardpack ice cream one all too well. Getting that in your load out on a submarine is a luxury. For me it was caffeine, cigarettes (back when you could still smoke on a submarine) and dip. I even told new guys who didn't smoke or dip to bring that with them. Good bartering items for qualifications.
My dad was a tanker. I went home with notes for 'beating up other children & taking their toys/food' & 'cussing at staff' since kindergarten. My mom sent my dad in for PTC from time to time & it helped a little. 😏
