when I bought my mpa30T i bought like 80 of those. I never converted. wasn't sure if I would need some new spring or not.

The original springs are ungodly strong even 80 years later and tons of use. You have to use a sten mag loader to fully load the magazines.

All you really need to do to convert youre single stack magazine back into a double stack single feed is just twisting off the tabs on the bottom of the mag, and going straight to the hammer and bunch instead of using the drill

All you really need is just a hammer, nail or bunch and pliers

You also would have a greater chance of denting the magazine that way. Drilling weakens the wire's connection to the mag along with gives you a mark to use as a guide for the nail or punch.

are you going to do any videos on the ar15 magazines?

I would think bigger channels have already done videos on the differences in AR/M16 mags. As for restoring AR mags, I don't have any of the limited capacity ones to try on.
