Good morning beautiful Sunshine and big sis Limpopo it warms my heart to see Khanyisa being so lovingly looked after Limpopo is becoming more like her mama every day Tokwe has taught her well this beautiful girl has a heart of gold and a genuine concern for her family all perfect qualities when you’re the matriarch’s eldest daughter. Aww Meisekind and her speed runs are the best it’s clear she’s absolutely thriving eyes closed as the milk goes down means life is good it’s been a joy watching this princess grow. The orphanage surrounding garden and the kitchen look so clean, tidy and pretty. Beautiful trees growing fast there. Lovely to see. I wonder how the cows decide who’s taking nanny duties each day. They seem to have a well oiled nannying system. Today is Limpopo’s turn. I love her. ❤She has the most beautiful smiling face, doesn’t she? Our lovely princess is getting rounder. 💕🐘

She comes creeping closer bcuz she LOVES that lady more than life itself!! Khanysia almost seems to feel indebted to Adine for helping her come back go life. My last dog was the same way. She was also rescued. Scientists claim that humans, dogs, prime mates, elephants and some also say dolphins too-- all experience emotion and for the same reasons. Kinda weird or striking maybe, idk? But when u think about it- consider the millions of species on Earth...n just these select few feel what we feel, n we feel it for the same reasons too. Ever assumed ur dog was jealous?lol she was! Ever see the wild prime mate that lives on the outskirts of a city/town close to humans? There's normally a stray dog somewhere close- they share the same feelings. Ever notice the captain of a boat take his dog deep sea fishing w em and the come across a pod of dolphins? The dog is ready to jump into the ocean w the dolohin- humans already have! Lol idk, just weird. Elephants in captivity almost always have dogs, n we clearly see here w Khanysia & Adine....the emotion between them. How bout the feelings the elephants share between each other in this herd?! We feel those same ways! I believe (n I believe I've experienced it personally too) what scientists claim. I feel I've always known dogs feel what we feel but this claim just makes it concrete for me. I love witnessing the emotion w this herd and their humans. It's such a treat. Wish I could experience it personally 😄❤️ This Khanysia ellie LOVES HER SOME Adine!! Xox

I absolutely love the videos that show the 'line up' of the herd and a carer beside each one going out for for day. For some reason that is just such a beautiful sight. It makes me feel that all will be well for those gorgeous creatures and no snares, or poachers, or anything will get in their way. Thank you for these videos and the love and care you show each and every one of these wonderful animals. I know they love you all so much for all the love and care you give to them. 💕💕

Her tusks have grown so much lately and it's funny how big she looks next to the humans but next to the other elephants she is still so small lol. She is so appreciative of all the carers and very obedient to all the older members of the herd

YIKES - - I eat a lot of sweet potatoes and I know how hard they are to cut. Herman slices through them as if they were bananas - - what tough, strong hands !!!

How come khanyisa has not been drinking her milk from a bucket or pail now that she is older? Is it normal for captive elephants to drink from a bottle like a baby for so many years? It seems it would be more natural for her to use her trunk, and strengthen her trunk dexterity at the same time. I guess khanyisa will always be the baby if no other orphans come. Timisa seems to be fully elephant in the herd and content. Each with their own personality, so it seems khanyisa is happy in her baby attention. I'm glad to see some of the elephants got some merula fruit as a treat. It definitely seems to be a favorite for them. The green landscape is beautiful to see! Take care everyone.

Herman and khanyisa have a bond of love so strong. Herman has been so kind loving attentive to khanyisa through her time in the nursery, khanyisa let's Herman feed her still and of course Adine. Following you round because she missed you. Khanyisa is so sweet and intelligent. She's so sensitive to everyone's feelings and the elephants feelings too. She's a real diplomat 💖

It seems I had a similar itch in my right ear a few weeks ago too, internet born I figure now. How do I deal with itches that feel like a fly laid it's egg on my ear drum? I patiently waited. Ascertained the sensation each time it felt like it was going to take root. Then I waited to see if a fly would come out of my ear. Gross, I know, but nothing happened and the slight pin point that felt like it might puncture a hole in my ear drum is gone. As I've watched all of you, and still keep an eye on how internet affects the animals, long story, I added an option for discovery management to the list besides a fly and her eggs. Internet intruders, who are looking for trouble by singling out chatters such as myself. Netiquette is the new word I learned, but I won't stop trying to bring light to issues that are taking our world and simple life with our animals. Healthcare here, in many circles, would be freaking out right about now. We had two dead bodies that weren't discovered by the community/property manager for two weeks, and we're all still finding out how many different kinds of bugs can infest a living space while they try and clean the mess up. One learns to not freak out about such things when we've roughed it a little bit due to neglect of our financial system. We do still get irritated and sometimes will have an outburst when enough is enough, but slow and steady wins the race every time. Fear of the wild becomes less so when you live so close to it on a daily basis. Love to you all, Khanyisa and Limpopo are very good teachers.

What a wonderful way for these kind men to earn a living and care for their families, caring for elephants.
