I watched this video a week ago, and me and my sister really wanted to try this recipe out and when I tell you that it was THE BEST cake I have ever eaten you'd believe it! The actual cake was so good on its own that the cream didn't need to add the extra moisture, it was the most moist, creamy and light cake ever, I highly recommend trying this recipe.

I just adore these videos! I love to watch the prep, the ingredients and it all goes together.. My only regret is that there is no conversion of quantities so that we can make a smaller version in house! Keep making, and I will keep watching!!

8:09 This is corn starch not powdered sugar. The milk earlier had a lot of sugar already added, so it makes no sense to add more sugar and expecting this to thicken without starch. It would just be sugary milk solution rather than the custard that was made.

Im going to try and make one. I think that to make the thickened milk they used corn starch and not powder sugar and its translated incorrectly. This must taste like a tres leche cake but not soggy and less sweet. The sponge for these cakes are light and subtle in sweetness.
