They didn't just duplicate the original (which is sadly what a lot of covers do), but rather they took the basic song and made it entirely their own. I really enjoyed it.

One thing I don't understand about peoples comments here is that a cover doesn't have rules. It's cool that an artist can take another artists song and make it their own, make it unique. You shouldn't take a dig at an artist for using their creative energy to recreate a popular track and making something completely different out of it. Why can't we just appreciate the time and effort musicians put into making great music whether it's a genre or style you like or not.

Ich finde man kann das Lied nicht wirklich mit dem Original vergleichen und ich habe auch nicht das Gefühl, dass Milky Chance verglichen werden wollte, sondern das sie den Song auf eigene Art interpretieren wollten. Deshalb finde ich das Cover super, genau so wie alle anderen Lieder! Ist halt deren Stil :)

Milky Chance, you guys did a FANTASTIC job with this cover. To the people who say the song doesn't suit them, you're wrong. They changed the flow of the music and made form to theur style. If they had sung it like Taylor Swift had then It wouldn't have suited their style, but they didn't. Anyways, again amazing job with this cover guys. Also to the people who are calling others hipster faggots shut the hell up and get the fuck out of here. At least we aren't looking on the internet and putting others down because we're in need of attention and just sitting alone at home.
