People mispronouncing her name is explained. Sasha did it first, so she decided she liked it, and encourages people to call her "mia" now. (Incidentally, Mia translates to "mine." No wonder she likes hearing it from Sasha.)

I always wanted to see milla angry…and with some serious moments, I mean if we go by the Easter egg in the first game in her mind, we saw one of her most horrible traumas even if she tried to stop us, I wanted to see her about that-

There was another bit of Dialogue on how you pronounce her name. Apparently her name is Carmilla but her friends called her Milla (pronounced Me-uh) BUT Sasha mispronounced it as mi-ya (since two L's in Spanish make a Yuh sound) and she kept it because it was cute.
